Extremely disappointed overall, driven by the unpalatable pizzas. The pasta and breaded eggplant rollatini were good but the pizzas… In fact, what made the pizzas bad were: 1) the dough…they seemed more like flatbread than pizza as there was no distinguishable impact of yeast having been used to rise the dough 2) the cheese. The Margherita used a cheese that was so extremely salty that it removed any pleasure 3) the Koburrata pizza, which has no sauce, should not exist. An abomination.

Hank’s is great – not sure what took me so long to get here… Terrific, super-fresh food (I’d describe it as farm-to-table/”locavore”); warm and welcoming atmosphere; plus friendly and professional service made for a winning combination! I ordered a delicious and very generous roasted beet salad, followed by one of their wood-fired, imaginatively-topped pizzas (this one featured shredded short rib and roasted root veggies) – both were excellent! A mini chocolate pot de creme was the perfect finishing touch. Thanks, Hanks! P.S. It’s perfect for a meal before or after seeing a movie right across the street!

Last night at Hank’s. Wonderful experience. There were 15 of us celebrating newlyweds. Practically every one ordered different menu items. Each came out promptly and hot. Nobody had to wait for others to be served. The food was spot on and the servers were as well. I had been there only once before and so enjoyed it then. I’m not waiting so long to go back.
