I like the mom and pop feel of it. As a Nigerian visiting Philly for work, I was craving Nigerian food and I found this spot was open on 4th of July. There is PLENTY of parking, which is a plus!

I’ve been coming here for years. I always ask for the Nigerian lady. She cooks the best meals. I like efo riro and goat meat or fried fish. I also get a nice cup of ataya tea while I eat. This is definitely one of the best African food spots in Philadelphia

First time here and I love this place. Customer Service is amazing, food is perfect, the kitchen was very clean. Offered tea when I walked in. I watch the interaction with the customers and it’s like it’s family I WILL BE BACK

I googled a place to get Fufu and stumbled across this beautiful restaurant. Amazing food but something I loved was that the place was very family oriented. It was my first time but I will definitely be back. I peeked in the kitchen and it was very clean. The space is large. No dine ins as it was a bit late. Overall the customer service was THE BEST!!!!!!

Ordered the salmon platter $18 and comes with one side. White rice is the norm but I opted for salad. Salad was chunks of iceberg lettuce & four extremely mushy tomato chunks. Salmon was cold, charred strips. The cashier/cook said he gave me an “extra” piece. Tasted terrible. I gave this place a chance during Africatown’s Restaurant Week. Never again. Love Southwest Philly & I’ll stick to McDonald’s & Popeyes!

Authentic African food and Nigerian Food menu. I also saw options for people who want something American. Food is in great quantity. Quick service. We ordered; Ayamase stew with white rice, Fish peppersoup with white rice, Amala and gbegiri. All meals were delicious and smoking hot. Especially the amala.

Great food joint. The whole staff is endearing and they treat you like long lost friends. The complimentary tea alone is worth the trip. The meal is more than enough for one person. If you dont know what to get, try the dibi lamb. Make sure to ask for the jolof rice. The fish and kebab are also worth trying

Amazing place! The owner and chef are very friendly. The food is delicious! I highly recommend the fish – yassa. Everything is cooked with love. You always feel welcome and it is fairly priced. Each entree is very big. Definitely worth a visit – one of the best
