Best fried chicken in the area. We had the fried chicken and the chicken tenders, both cooked perfectly! Just the right amount of seasonings, meat was juicy, outside was crispy! The servings are not small! We took home some of each. Also tried the mashed potatoes/gravy (very good), cole slaw (nothing special really, kinda heavy on the Mayo for me) and baked beans (also delicious)! OH YEA, and the biscuit!!! Best biscuit I think I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant! Nice addition to the Cleves/Lburg area, check em out, pretty sure you’ll agree!!

Wanted to welcome back Roy Rogers after its long hiatus. Thought maybe they would bring back Trigger and Dale too. This was my favorite restaurant as a child. Very disappointed after my visit. The restaurant was practically standing room only, that said the wait time to order and get your food was acceptable. The coleslaw and Mac & cheese were pretty good. The roast beef sandwich looked good and had some meat on it. The chicken tenders were up to par and chicken dinners with a biscuit looked good. But I went for the double R burger, herein lies my biggest disappointment it was no bigger than a White Castel. The Pattie was cold and dry and the one slice of ham was shaved so thin it was translucent. Second disappointment was the sticker price. A combo meal is $12 or $13, three piece chicken tenders was $6. So two combos and a chicken tenders was $36. I could have gone to Skyline and gotten a 5 way, 3 way, 3 cheese coneys and drinks for the same price

Made my first visit today, and it was packed. The workers were super friendly, and the line moved fast, considering there were a lot of customers there. I ordered the family chicken meal and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. The chicken wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. It could be that I really only like spicy chicken, and they don’t sell spicy. But they do sell a spicy chicken sandwich, and it was good.

There are few chain restaurants in this area, so this Roy Rogers is appreciated. The food we’ve had so far, is okay. My burger was warm and delicious but my children ordered burgers that we received cold and the buns hard. We ate a late dinner which is why I think the biscuits were very hard and dry. Part of the order was made incorrectly, but the staff willingly made the correction. The toppings bar had fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and other items available, along with a good selection of condiments. The prices are acceptable. We’ve eaten here twice and expect to return. The atmosphere is ok. Not much different from any other fast food location. The most notable difference is the decision to allow the line of waiting customers to pass through the middle of the dining area. This puts standing customers within inches of tables where people are eating. Most every location I can recall has the queue walk through a zig-zag back and forth in front of the counter. That keeps diners separate from the queue and allows the queue easy visibility of the menu board. The queue of waiting customers moved quickly but still resulted in some discomfort having the butts of strangers inches from our table and food. We’re giving the owners some grace since this location has only been open a couple weeks. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I stopped in to pick up a takeout order to bring to some friends I was visiting nearby, and I was incredibly impressed with this place. The interior of the restaurant was spotless. The cashier was attentive and friendly, and my order came up quickly and tasted great. It’s nice to see the Roy Rogers (no relation to me) chain expanding again, and I welcome its return to Ohio.

Welcome back Roy ! Was surprised that they have breakfast and it’s actually quite good. I like the sourdough. I don’t remember eating Roy as a kid so I don’t have anything to compare it to other than Arby’s and the roast beef is so much better than the pressed and formed stuff that they sell at the other place. Roy’s is a little expensive but has a cool vibe and pretty decent food. We’ll be back.

I’ve tried Roy Roger’s a couple of times now, and I was really hoping to find a great place to eat. The food isn’t bad, but it’s just average. Everything is kind of plain. There was nothing that I thought I couldn’t wait to try again. The roast beef isn’t pressed meat like some places, which is good, but there isn’t any seasoning that makes it above average. Overall, I would rate it as a nice, safe, clean place to eat.

Great! Just like it was 25 years ago. The roast beef was tender, juicy and real meat. The bun was soft and the sauces were delicious. And they still had the posters of Roy. The building is new, the prices reasonable and the service is friendly. What else could you ask for in a restaurant?
