The waitress has dementia, the cook is rude, the food is just OK, and the place is kind of dirty and smoky because the kitchen opens up to the dining area! They overcharged me for something that was supposed to be included on their specials that day and then the cook/owner started an argument with me because I wouldn’t pay the difference. I told her to take it up with the 80+ year old waitress who is crazy and then I left and told them I wouldn’t be back!

Can’t beat it! Great prices, nicely cooked. Corned beef hash was crispy and soft! Scrambled eggs soft and fluffy. Great coffee!

Amazing ladies that run the place for nearly 32 years at this point. Food price was very cheap for what they cook for you and tastes amazing as well.

Shhh…they’re the best kept secret in town! As for the negative reviews, when I click to see the posters other reviews, they’re all negative. Really? 90% of places these posters reviewed rate 2 or less stars? That’s when you just have to take the negative reviews out of the rating. The Courtyard ends up with 5 stars overall!

Food wasn’t too bad, but like others have said, some of the staff can be incredibly rude. I’ve managed breakfast restaurants for years and I couldn’t imagine rolling my eyes at *any* special requests, much less a fairly common one (in my case, I wanted my scrambled eggs done low and slow–something very easy to accomplish, and which I do every single day in my own restaurant). Nevertheless, my basic request seemed to overwhelm the waitstaff. They say you get what you pay for but, in this case, I don’t agree. It doesn’t cost anything to listen to the customer and attempt to honor their request when possible. Conversely, it costs this business in lost revenue when they force me to write a review like this, a review that could sway potential customers in the future.

My wife’s experience a year ago – I’ve just had my worst experience eating at this place! I’ve eaten here before, it’s the cheapest place in town and I guess you get what you pay for. I took my 10 year old son out for breakfast to spend a little quality time and we decided to go to Courtyard, when we sat down we found some of the utensils dirty, the waitress made a comment about lousy help.
