AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! This Popeyes location made me SICK!!! On 8/8/23 around 8:01pm I ordered chicken nuggets through their app, went to the window to pick them up and was informed it would take a few minutes and I should pull around to the door and wait. Fine. I received my order after about five minutes and tried a few nuggets on my way home, they tasted horrible, like old cold nuggets mixed with fresh hot but raw nuggets. Some of the nuggets were absolutely saturated in a vile and putrid tasting oil. I wound up sick that night and into the next day. I missed a day of work because of the ineptitude of the employees at this location. I WILL NEVER EAT POPEYES EVER AGAIN. The Lale County Health Department should investigate and close down this location.

I wish their management would explain why if asked for sauces some employee would give them to you others give you a line about then costing extra. If your customers are asking you for sauce packets why not just give it to them, so they are happy and come back for another order!

BEWARE They are serving raw old chicken. Went back to return their raw fishy smelling chicken and the manager Judy would not give me a refund!! She said she spoke with her district manager Graig and he also said “Don’t give him a refund” I spend $52.00 on chicken that I brought back because it was raw and smelled like fish and was not able to get a refund. This establishment is a scam and I don’t understand how they are still in Lake Zurich. I will also be contacting the health department to make them aware of this.. THIS IS A NASTY PLACE!!!

Popeyes food is generally good but the prices have really reflected the crazy inflation we’ve experienced the past 2 years. 14 piece chicken tenders and 2 small sides was $25+ tax. Small drink was $3.29 + tax. In fairness it was free refills but still almost $4 for a small drink?

I would rather go to a farm, buy a chicken raise it to adult, slaughter it, deep fry it and eat it than return to this shitshow of a chicken place. How in the hell is this place still operating. Who goes here more than one time who isn’t out after a night of drinking and cant tell the difference. The service is terrible, not indifferent, actively terrible, the chicken is 90% batter with some seasoning and I guess chicken. What in the hell!!!!???? I wish a sinkhole would open up and swallow this place!!

Rude manager I made an online order then when I got to the counter I said I want some changes on my order before they handed my order, same meal but different side same value price and she said you can’t change order. Also 1pc of the chicken smells and taste awful I can’t even eat it.I paid $11+ for 2 pcs meal chicken which 1 is bad.
