Awesome stop for coffee. We got iced and hot Chuck Norris coffees. Loved them. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Explained drinks as we were deciding. Bakery item choices were great. Enjoyed a cinnamon roll. Nice seating inside and outside on the patio.

We have been enjoying Blue Horse for years. The drinks and food are excellently prepared. The service is quick and knowledgeable. Our fav is a Carmel latte with triple the Expresso, Chuck Norris. If you enjoy good food and great coffee give them a try.

Have been coming to Blue Horse since 2001 and it consistently has been the best breakfast sandwich spot we have ever been to. The cheddar biscuit is to die for, the meatzilla will leave you full, happy and wanting another one the next day. Coffee tastes great and the staff is extremely friendly with Eric the owner going out of his way to make sure our dog has bacon. As long as this place exists we will incorporate it into our breakfasts as much as possible during our annual camping trip.

Great coffee shop to start out your day!! Food is fresh and delicious. We like placing online orders to avoid wait times which can be long during peak DC summers. The vegan options are tasty. Coffee and espresso drinks are all good, we’ve tried them all. Just an overall great place to get coffee and sit by the lake or they have a cute sitting area in the back.

We had a great breakfast at the Blue Horse! The house itself is super cute and directly across from the beach. We sat and ate on the back patio which was lovely. Highly recommend their iced coffee, The Tomato, and Bagel & Lox – they were delish. My daughter also really liked her Ham & Cheese sandwich from the kids menu. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in the area!
