Rice with either beef or chicken both are delicious.

Went here with a friend to try Somalian food, I’ve never tried it before. I ordered a watermelon juice drink with the beef suqar and my friend ordered chicken suqar. The food took a while to come out, we were waiting for about 20 minutes, when the food came out we thought it would be hot but it wasn’t. My beef was almost not even warm, the rice was warm and of course the salad was cold. The beef didn’t have a lot of flavor, the rice was okay and the salad I wasn’t a fan of. I also tried my friends chicken and it wasn’t dry which was good and the flavor was okay. The one thing that I did love ablut this place was the hot sauce. It was good! Another thing I didn’t like is the gentleman at the register was taking the order of someone who has never been there , he started talking to the guy, then answered a phone call while the guy was standing there looking around and waiting ,then he took his order. I thought that was rude.

I never try African food this is my very first time and I am so happy I did try. This is one of the best food I ever ate. The beef stew so good the meat is so tender the Samosa is the best Samosa. The staff is awesome. I love it and I will definitely coming back.

I found this place on Google and decided to try it out based on the high reviews- great decision! Very friendly and helpful owner. I was immediately brought hot chai tea followed by a combo beef/chicken suqar with rice and salad, and two samosas with an onion/meat mixture. All was delicious. There is plenty of seating inside to dine in. Will come back!!

Never had Somalian food before and I must admit that I was very skeptical at first. After reading all the reviews on google I decided to give this place a try anyway and I am so glad I did! The food is amazing and the owner is super friendly! Focus on customer satisfaction is second to none! The portion is so large that I wasn’t even able to eat up half of my food. Will definitely be going back to this place!

My first time at an East African restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, so I ordered a chicken curry and a beef curry dish without the rice. Instead I had the chapati and another African bread like a crepe. I actually like the curries better with the crepe and the white hot sauce. I wish these guys can improve the ambiance and the decor. Also a little more focus on cleanliness would go a long way. If I was to rate it only on food I would give it a 5 star. I was also offered milk tea with cinnamon in it, the tea was good but really high in sugar.

So glad this popped up on Google Maps, and even more glad we tried it! We purchased a few things and shared them. The chicken and beef stews were so delicious, and the rice was so flavorful!

Amazing, absolutely amazing! We got the beef and chicken stews and we had a hard time picking a favorite! Because everytime we would switch plates we would change our minds! Seeing the place at first sight it feels a bit underwhelming, but you should put on your big boy pants and just go in, you won’t regret it! Walking in the owner told us to sit anywhere we wanted with a big welcoming smile! He makes you feel comfortable and gives you good suggestions on what food to get. Also if you like good food just based off of the spices and not the sauce, they hit it right on the nose! In the end portions were great, food was great and a little tip from me you should get a few Sambussa’s to go!
