Oxtails, beans, and rice with gravy and cabbage. Since my favorite Jamaican restaurant is an hour away. I decided to try Mama Lune’s . The oxtail gravy was salty. The cabbage had no taste. Now I’m not going to front. I’ve had Mama Lune’s before and enjoyed the food. I don’t know what happened this time. Maybe it’s a different cook. Where is my previous review of when I liked Mama Lune’s? Hopefully, when I order again.

This place is amazing!! Orville, who was behind the counter, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We got the jerk pork and jerk chicken, both with rice and beans, plus cabbage and green beans respectively. Everything was incredibly flavorful and delicious, and Orville even offered up a piece of oxtail to try while we were chatting, which my son will definitely be ordering next time. Overall, Mama Lune’s has a welcoming atmosphere with food that is out of this world. This has definitely become our go-to Jamaican spot from now on!

The food is SO GOOD!!! No rewarmed grocery store freezer patties here. Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with care. Food is served piping hot and does not disappoint. The set up is carry out with a very cute, comfy waiting area. And did I mention how yummy the food is?!?!

10/10! You won’t regret trying Mama Lune’s! First- the service is great, the employees are just so sweet and lovely from start to finish. The food is amazing! Perfect flavor, seasoned well and not overly spicy or salty. I’m so glad I decided to give them a try. Definitely a small business I will be supporting again in the future (:

Omg my 1st time trying this place and I thought the food was great. It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten some really good Jamaican food, I’ve been searching and so disappointed. I will return often! If you get a chance stop by the cherry wood center and get yourself a platter. Oh and very clean place and the guy who I’m assuming was the owner, very friendly. Don’t pass this place up!!
