This restaurant tops all fine dining places I have been too! It is hipster, eclectic, cozy, and comforting. The best food! The staff is great too and very helpful. It is almost like eating an art form. They take the time and effort to put love into each dish. And the flavors join each other so well, the staff and chefs really know how to pair flavors together. I got mussels, the pork chop, and chocolate tart. I could eat here everyday! If you are looking to impress someone and have a nice intimate dinner that is upbeat and satisfying Ad-Lib is the place to visit! I will surely be back and i’m looking forward to introducing this to a lot of my friends and family. Next time i will be trying the chef’s special so i can try a little bit of all the menu and it is all picked for me by the chef. I love this place! Absolutely amazing and not like any restaurant I have ever been to. This needs to be on the Food Network Channel! Keep up the great work and we will be back soon!

Went on our wedding anniversary last summer. Had a great meal and great service. Love the seasonal and locally sourced food philosophy. We got to watch our chef’s create our meals, too! No reservations. Get there EARLY!

Absolutely worse meal ever!!! Over-priced for pretty much nothing! We decided to try the restaurant based on reviews we found here – we went on New Year’s Eve and discovered the prices were jacked up to $75/per person. Our first course was an appetizer – I ordered “prawns” and that consisted of exactly ONE prawn. Next course, I ordered the lobster Soup – it had one small piece of lobster and the broth was cold. Next course – the main entrée – I ordered the butterfish. Incredibly small portion and the potatoes it sat on were cold. I called the staff over to let them know and they “fixed” it – they microwaved my plate!

Creative dishes. Spectacular tastes. Wonderful, original wine lists as well. We loved the food and atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is classy, cozy, and energetic. The service was also exceptional.

This cafe id literally hidden in a strip mall. No signage until you ate at the door. It is airy and rustic. Stone arch frames the open kitchen. I was hopeful. They advertised a prix fixed brunch 3 courses for $30. Worth the try. First course choices were house salad w gem lettuce and green goddess dressing with blue cheese ..not very pretty and not gem lettuce at least what I have had before. Others at table had mussels but with Italian bread no toasted baguette. Mussels were good tho. Other choice was green onion soup w pickled vegetables…bright green soup with a few strips of veggies and flowers. Next came choice of duck confit, salmon, lump crab cake w hollandaise on brioche. Good all 3 but..nothing that wowed. Q. The crab cake was NOT lump. And a egg was poached on top but cold (?..)everything was yellow.not pretty tasted ok. Duck confit was fried such hash..with a not so warm duck egg ( not sure it really was a duck egg). The salmon was perfect tho. Best of choices. Last course was either pane cotta with fruit or pot de creme. Pane cotta came in a tiny jam jar w fruit…no flavor. Dark chocolate pot de creme was not that dark and topped w coconut served in a juice glass. This place did not offer soft drinks. If they had them they weren’t offered. No liquor only wine. A disappointment. Dear owners please have adequate descriptions of food . Lumpcrab meat is lumps not shreds. It is bland and not worth another trip. Sorry It’s NOT On My keeper list

Chef pairing with wine… spot on! Wasn’t a fan of all the wines, but they went well with the chef’s selections. Each meal presented was phenomenal! I will return.

Just fantastic! After living 20 years in France, this is the closest I’ve been to a perfect French bistro. Great, fresh ingredients, elegant and delicious meal, and wonderful service.

God I love this place. It’s pricy and you will wait longer than you expect most times. But it’s worth it. We’ve been two times: once we ordered off the menu and the other we ad-lib’d with wine flights. Do not miss the lobster broth soup.
