Food was super tasty! 4 stars for service and atmosphere only because it’s kinda cafeteria style dining. Which is cool. Great place for a large group or family dining. I had the brisket and the smoked jalapeno n cheese sausage with the baked beans and coleslaw. Sausage was my fav of those. I am a big guy and I was STUFFED. Great dinner!

Incredible. We were looking for a bbq place to go to with some extended family members while in town and we made the right choice. My son went in first to check out the scene and make sure they could accommodate a party of 14. Before the rest of us were even all inside Nikki had told the kitchen to get ready for a big group and had a table ready for us.

Not my favorite BBQ, had the Cuban – wish they would have put it together differently as it was all meat and then all the toppings instead of being mixed in the bite. Meat was cooked well. The Brisquet egg rolls were super tasty though.

Bought two pounds of pulled pork on two occasions. Each time, the meat contained approximately 1/3 pound of gristle, fat, and other un-edible parts of the pig.

Everything is fresh, delicious, served quickly and the staff is very friendly! 5 different bbq sauces are available and bottles are available for the tables now so no more small portions of sauce! Great experience as usual , we cant wait to go back and try more!

The coleslaw was so gross, the beans are clearly from a can. The pulled pork was extremely greasy, the burnt ends were very fatty, only thing on the entire plate that was good was the ribs and they weren’t even that good. 54th Street bar and grill in Edwardsville makes ribs 3x as good but they’re not displaying tons of awards from food competitions raving about their ribs even though I don’t see them entering competitions don’t see how heavy smoke won any competitions at all for any reason. All together extremely disappointed. 30$ for a meal and I only ate a little bit. Probably gonna give the rest to the dog. Will not be coming back.

The food is always excellent. Definitely some of the best brisket I’ve ever had. As a bonus, the sides are also delicious. Everyone who works there has always been very helpful and seem happy to be there. There’s a reason this food wins awards worldwide.

Just ate here in st. Peters MO this place is great. The 3 meat plate will feed 2 and the beer is ice cold. BBQ at it’s finest Great job heavy smoke BBQ, and I can cook myself I’m very satisfied with this place will be here 2 weeks for work and I will return there to consume more of the great food.

King Scott sandwich with an order of pork cakes and side of fresh chips. Everything was tremendous, loved the sauces as well. The brisket is so flavorful, even without sauce! The pork cakes are like crab cakes, but with pulled pork – ingenious! Staff was very friendly and made sure we happy.

I’m giving Heavy Smoke a 5 star review because this is darn good barbecue. They obviously know how to cook meat properly. This is competition style barbecue which doesn’t offer a ton of unique flavor but it’s very well cooked meat. It’s a little safe.
