I remember going to Sizzler when I was a kid and thinking the salad bar was the coolest. Today I’m less interested in the salad bar and more interested in steak. While there’s a definite difference between the steak I get at my favorite steakhouse and the steak I get at Sizzler, there’s also a marked difference in price and atmosphere. Sizzler has a warm family-friendly atmosphere. I’ve always felt welcome, even when my toddler is throwing a fit. Staff are friendly and there’s a dessert bar.

The remodel is done very well. The staff is great! Our server the last couple of trips was Kara I believe and she rocked it! Salad bar is always fresh and I love the chicken wings! Be sure to try the strawberry and blueberry salad!

This is one of my favorite restaurants. We frequent it after rafting trips on the American River and trips to Tahoe. The salad bar is excellent for meat eaters and vegetarians. The menu order food is tasty and delivered quickly. The restaurant is very close to Highway 50. The service is speedy and friendly. I brought a group of 8 there yesterday. One of my friends commented, “When did Sizzler get such good food and become modern?” I couldn’t answer because this place has been excellent for years.

Good experience, not crowded before 5pm, after that between 5 to 20 mins wait in line to order and pay. My favorite Malibu chicken, bake potato and onions. They also offer salad bar, not too fan of it. Good service when is no crowded.

Best Sizzler we’ve ever been to. Very clean. Super friendly and enthusiastic staff. Fresh food and quickly refilled salad bar. The steak and lobster was great for the price. Steak was cooked perfectly. The mango lemonade was delicious. Burger was great. Will be back when in the area again. If it wasn’t two hours away it would be a regular place for us. Sorry we were too overwhelmed to take pictures.

Enjoyed a family dinner on Sunday June 7, 2020 in celebration of our daughter’s promotion to middle school. This location in Cameron Park was fantastic. Although the full-service salad bar/buffet was restricted due to the remnants of the recent pandemic, our meal was still outstanding. Our server, PATTY, was EXCELLENT!! Our party of twelve was treated as if it were the only group in the restaurant – food was brought out promptly and perfectly prepared, drink refills appeared before glasses were empty, all requests were granted almost immediately, and Patty genuinely took care of our group in the best ways possible. Give Patty a raise or a promotion or something, because she was awesome!! We will definitely be back for another meal soon.

Our meal was horrible. We ordered 2-25 dollar rib eyes with sides. All total was $75 bucks..Both steaks were supposed to be medium rare. They were well done. One steak had a side yam and one with a baked potato. Both sides were hard as rocks. We brought this too the attention of the wait staff. We were told by both staff members that they could order new steaks. But we are very busy and it could take a long time. We already had a 2 hour drive ahead of us. We were really hungry and said forget it. I hadn’t eaten at Slizzer in about 25 yrs. Guess it will be another 25 before I go back. At least the drunks were decent.
