I love this place. It does get really busy at lunch so if you can, plan around the normal lunch crush. The team working here is fun and helpful. I always want a little bit more protein and rice and beans on my wrap. Nevertheless, it’s fresh and delicious.

Needed a quick bite during a lacrosse camp at high point university. This place was recommended by a friend. We were served immediately, staff was friendly and helpful. Food was out quick. We both had chicken quesadillas. They were great. Had the strawberry hibiscus pomegranate tea was excellent. I forget the price but was not to pricey for the food, around $20.

Food was tasty but watch out for pricing! This was my first visit so I’ll know next time if I return, but: Things add up real fast! $1.98 for a little spoonful of guacamole! $1.98 for a drizzle of queso cheese!

I was invited (at a meeting) to share in the catered lunch from Barberitos – they had a spread of fajita steak, hard/soft tacos, fresh lettuce, fresh pico (very chunky and loved it), fresh quac, shredded cheese, sour cream, cheese sauce for chips, and I was SO BLOWN away! Mexican-esque can be iffy to partake in at a meeting, bc the fajita meat can be non-edible and then you have to chew forever or try to find a discrete way to place it in your napkin…but this was so fresh and satisfying! The soft tortillas were bigger than the La Hacienda’s version, so that was nice b/c you could actually get all the contents wrapped up and have a satisifying lunch amount. The other half of the room made it’s way to the sandwich box with Jersey Mike’s (the underwhelmng box with a premade cookie, bag of chips and a basic sandwich – well, when asked how everyone’s lunch was, Eh, it was a box lunch) and they were all sorry. The fajita steak was so tender. Not long and stringy like the “La’s and the El’s we all know and love,” but was just more meat of a different shape and well seasoned, and edible. (If you’ve had Chili’s fajita steak, you’ll know what I mean…great presentation and fresh sides but can’t chew their steak enough to swallow.) I’m always impressed when someone takes time to do something well, taking a little extra step to make it unique, and Barberitos has done that. Well done!

I only eat here about once every two months but I never see the same people working here. I asked for a beef burrito but the lady told me they only have steak. Why is it that a tip is requested at the time of payment? Maybe it’s for the table I have to clean myself before enjoying my burrito?

Me and my boyfriend went here for some lunch, and we walked in and attempted to order. We tried to order from the menu, and the way the menu was laid out was that the actual items you order are on the left (tacos, burrito bowls, etc) while the stuff on the right was the items you put on the item you get, like a Subway, but this was our first time here so we didn’t know that. The man taking our order never explained this to us when I tried to order just “spicy chicken” as it was called, thinking it was some other food with spicy chicken in it, and even told us that he “never went by the menu anyways,” so we were very confused. I ended up getting a burrito bowl and my partner got a burrito, which were both not good for lack of a better word. Nothing was fresh, and you could taste it. Not to mention, not a single table was clean in the restaurant, with crumbs and other assortments left on the tables. I don’t recommend coming here unless you have no choice, but considering the other places around the area, including a not-my-personal-preference-but-understand-why-people-like-it Thai place and a Domino’s, I’d say there’s no reason to come here.

Easily the best burritos outside the southwest. The sheer freshness and quality of the ingredients is hard to overstate. After having moved out of the area several years ago, we still make the trip back just to eat here.

Excellent service. Had my 3 little ones by myself and one was asleep and they were willing to bring my food out to my car for me. Thanks to Kiara. (I think was her name) for going above and beyond.
