Fantastic pastrami sandwich with extra pickles. Great flavor with grilled onions and dressing. Another great gluten free reuben with a little Dijon mustard with Russian dressing. Of course it had Sauerkraut and Swiss cheese. Fantastic flavor. Good place for eating in or take out.

Advertising gluten free options but do not have any when we were there… Maybe it’s best to call first. At the store we were only told they could make a salad from things anyway gluten free… Did not sound very convincing.

5 stars for the ambiance, staff, and vibe of the place. Food didn’t live up to what I was hoping. We got the grilled cheese dip and the Venetian. grilled cheese was okay, not a ton of cheese and a lot more bread, ratio was off. The bisque was tasty, not sure if it’s just me but I love a creamy bisque, which is wasn’t so I wasn’t a huge fan.

It was so good! I was deciding between the pot roast sandwich and the Reuben & Mark suggested I get the pot roast and he was right! It was absolutely delicious. He even gave my friend and i some complimentary potatoes with sauce. Overall an amazing experience!

Massive salad that was heavier on kale than chicken (it was still plenty of chicken, just not the idea ratio). Otherwise great flavor, albeit a little too oniony for my liking. I won’t knock the place entirely though as I will definitely be back to try a less healthy option. I feel like for a place like this a good sandwich could up my review to 5 stars.

First time. Got the Roasted Chicken with Walnut Pesto. Owner was super nice. Everything tastes so fresh, bread was golden, buttery, and scrumptious. Felt like the chicken and pesto were lacking a bit of salt and flavor. But am willing to try other sandwiches on the menu.

Absolutely try their sandwiches if you’re in Goleta. I had their version of a beef dip, and it was totally delicious, a tad spicy but not too, the picture of a perfect beef dip. Inside seating on tables with benches. Big assortment of drinks in a nearby fridge. I’m not usually a sandwich person, but this is definitely worth trying.

Nice local sandwich shop. Despite their name, they’re often out of sliced pickles for the sandwiches. However, you can order custom sandwiches, paninis, and melts. At least around 2 PM, there doesn’t seem to be a line.
