Like having breakfast in the backyard of a Dominican farm house. Simple and delicious. That’s it. When food is this good the fancy plating and garnishes of stuff you aren’t going to eat is unnecessary. The food speaks for itself….and it was loud. The natural juices, we had Tamarindo and Chinola, were real and so yummy. The ambience was comfortable and the staff was ridiculously warm and friendly. Like you just showed up at your aunts house for breakfast. Stop reading and go before you need a reservation to get in there.

LOVEEDD THIS PLACE. The food is 20/10, My husband had the OxTail with rice and beans.. amazing, nothing bad to say. Feels like real home cooked meal. I had mangu with fried cheese, eggs and cheese. We had been looking for a true Dominican spot that made us feel like we were back home. Luz did just that! Her hospitality felt as if I was back home in my campo. Ordered the Yuca Empanadas, tried the cheese & ground beef; the cheese empanada was made with Dominican yellow cheese & yes the Dominican ketchup wasn’t left behind either. The oxtail was amazing & the Bistec en Cebollado was also. Luz has such a huge heart, her smile and her humor helps you ease up. We ended up taking Dominican cake home, tastes better than we remembered. After a long work day this food was everything our heart needed.

Stop everything you’re doing and go here right now!! We popped into this Dominican restaurant for the first time and were pleasantly surprised to meet the amazing owner who helped us understand all the delicious Dominican dishes that are prepared here. We ended up ordering the Dominican breakfast and the Dominican sandwich along with a side of tostones and two coladas. Let me tell you – the food was out of this world amazing! We will definitely be back. They also have karaoke if that’s your thing.
