I used to eat at a different golden wok but they disappointed me the last few times. So I thought I would try the Burnsville one to see if they would have the old quality I remember and love. I got the Golden Chicken which is a dish exclusive to Golden wok. It was horrible. it was sour when normally it should be sweet with a mild creaminess. I ate the rice and the egg roll. took a couple bites of chicken and threw it away. I am done with Golden wok.

Hated the lomein..was way to ‘wet’, the chicken pieces were small and Definitely processed and there were hardly any vegetables. On the other hand I did get a very cool fortune from my cookie. It was meaningful it almost made up for the food.

This is my go to place. Affordable yet delicious rolls. Shrimp tempura roll is a must. At 9.95 you receive 2 large deep fried shrimp at each end. And pure joy in the middle. Remember Golden sauce for a slight kick! manager who takes orders is on the ball. You know it’s right when she takes your order!

The food is mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken chow mein with a side of fried rice, and the chow main didn’t have any noodles. The only thing the chow mein had was small shreds of chicken, (mostly) celery, and sauce. The fried rice wasn’t even real fried rice, it was white rice mixed with soy sauce with a little bit of chicken in it, and that’s all. It wasn’t even fried, we fried it and added the veggies ourselves when we got home. The service (for a pickup order) wasn’t that good either. I’m usually not picky at all with Chinese food, and usually always like it, but this place was probably the worst/most bland I’ve ever had which was honestly very surprising, I was expecting it to be pretty good. Sadly I probably won’t be ordering from here again.

We have been ordering Golden Wok for over 2 years for our take out nights. Last night we were extremely disappointed. Our food arrived with grease all over the containers and bags. We always order seasame chicken, beef w/broccoli, chow mein and fried rice. Upon opening our food majority of it was cold. The taste was almost plastic and burnt, it was inedible. Bummer.

Big No – spent $50 and the food was horrible, the cream cheese wontons were raw with no cream cheese in them, flimsy and white and not cooked at all. We ordered orange chicken and sesame chicken, looked and tasted the same… the fried rice that i paid $4 extra for was just white rice drowned in soy sauce. Have had a horrendous stomache ache for the last two days and no appetite. Wouldnt recommend, really ruined my splurge night
