Whoa, big change in my review. I used to love this place. Tonight when I called to place mine and my wife’s order the lady, who sounded short and not nice, told me she couldn’t do my order. I said you have done this same order in the past and she said no, it’s not on their menu. I’m like really? You’ve made it exactly that way for us twice and now you won’t. Well… we won’t go there again if we can’t get what we want all of a sudden.

I’ve been going to the one on McLean for years. Always great food, but miss the chips and salsa you could grab to have with your meal. My favorite is tacos Al Pastor. The other location will bring you a basket of chips to you when you eat in.

This is a great Mexican restaurant on McLean Blvd in Elgin. You order at the counter then then pick up your food. There is seating for about only twenty people so it is a bit tight. They do offer all you can eat chips and salsa if you are eating there plus unlimited soda. The food was great this day.

The food at this place is just not up to par. I used to frequent it because of its convenient location near my workplace, but it’s been years since my last visit. I recently decided to give it another shot, hoping for improvement, but alas, I was reminded of the very reasons that led me to stop going in the first place. The taco special I ordered was a disappointment. The steak was overly drenched in oil, overcooked to the point of losing its flavor, and to top it off, the cilantro accompanying it was clearly past its prime. Despite my willingness to give them another chance, I have firmly resolved that I will not be returning to this establishment.

We regularly eat at this location and have left 5 star reviews. NO LONGER. They are not a chain, but the head moma conducts business as if they do. We order off the menu but ask them to add a special sauce to cover the chimies. For 2 years now the ladies in this Tyler Plaza location have done it with joy. We spend a little more, but we don’t care, it makes the dinner for us. This evening the woman behind the counter would not, in fact refused, to add the sauce we requested as normal. We said we would pay extra as we probably have been for the 2-3 years which we gladly would have. NOPE.

This place is great. Food is delicious! I get the fajita burrito with no meat and extra veggies, and they never give me any flak or look at me weird. The service is always great and its clean here! oh and i love the guac!

Best food ever, 5$ burritos are the best sauce is amazing. You can ask for peppers and onions in a tiny little baggy. best food ever, unlimited horchata and great customer service. The consistency is perfect all the time, clean and very fast after ordering food. Made fresh and ready to be handed out!
