I just had the most lousy sandwich. I ordered the chicken salad on whole wheat. For eight dollars I got this sad looking thing with not even enough chicken salad to cover the other half of the sandwich. I got about four bites before I had nothing but dry, bare bread. It was seriously the skimpiest sandwich I’ve ever seen. The young lady who took my order said they didn’t have tomatoes. I got a small slice of red onion and a few shreds of spinach. Really disappointing.

Village Cafe provided lunch–pizza, salads, desserts, drinks, etc.–for a school trip to a nearby outdoor location. The food was perfect for the group–tasty pizza, fresh salads. They were helpful with planning and delivery, well-organized, prompt, reasonably priced. All-around good service. Would highly recommend for similar catering.

A wonderful small cafe. Solid menu with breakfast sandwiches, pizza, cold/hot sandwiches, soups, etc. Friendly staff and clean place. There’s interesting abstract artwork hanging on the walls as well, and there are plenty of choices for coffee, thanks to Red Barn. Will definitely be back!

Literally worst meatball grinder ever. Meatballs must have been at least three or four days old. The mozzarella was cold. Wasn’t fit enough to feed to a dog.

The pizzas were thin crust deliciousness! The sandwiches were very good. The dining area is small and could have used a cleaning. The people were friendly and quick.

The menu is small and reasonably priced. Just good simple food. Pick a sandwich and pick your bread. The coffee is so good and they have a daily iced coffee flavor. When I was there I had chocolate chip cookie iced coffee. They also have a few pre-made grab and go items. There’s a cozy little area with a few tables to sit. We went back several times.

Probsbly the best NY style pizza I’ve had in MA. The crust is perfect. I ordered a Tree Hugger pie (fresh spinach, mushrooms, onions minus the peppers). White pie with pesto base. So very good!
