My wife and I have been here on multiple dates and have been blown away every time. David and his crew are incredible. The meals are filling, absolutely delicious, and so fresh. The miso soup, the salad, and the all of the sushi I have tried are each the best I have ever eaten.

I don’t know how any one could have less than five stars for this place. The sushi chef’s experience of 24 years shows in the food he makes, so does his love for the work. The service here is very tentative. They want to make certain you are not just pleased with the food and service but happy and satisfied. If you live for sushi and kind people in a relaxing comfortable environment then this is where you want to be. It’s where I’ll be when it’s sushi time!

I ordered a sushi roll for lunch and a sprite. The customer service was great but the food was nasty. I am sorry to say but this has to be the worst sushi I have ever had. To be a little more accurate I had the “Hotlanta” sushi roll. It smelled really weird and I ate it anyway. Now my stomach hurts and I am regretting the fact that I wanted to try this place. Should have known better to go in a sushi place that was practically empty. Do yourselves a favor and stay away.

My first visit to this restaurant was yesterday and I hope they were just having an off day. I placed an order online for chicken teriyaki with rice and veggies (no special instructions) and was notified that it would be ready for pickup in 20 minutes. I arrived at the 20 minute mark prepared to wait 10-15 minutes since it was lunch time (only a handful of diners in house when I arrived). After waiting at one of their tables for 35 minutes, they finally gave me my order. The food was tasty so I’ll probably give them another chance to see if the service is better. The staff seemed a bit unorganized and while they apologized for my long wait when they handed me my order, it didn’t seem like they made any effort to put any urgency on my delayed takeout order as the people who walked in to eat in house 15+ minutes after I arrived were served their meals before my order came out.

During the opening, the service and food was delicious. They would play kpop music videos too. After they took down their half deal specials, they updated their menu and they no longer served my favorite kimchi tacos. They also changed the ingredients on the other Korean tacos. Now it’s not as flavorful. The service is slow and they forget to bring your miso soup and salad. They also forget to bring the small dish for your soy sauce when you order sushi. I used to come here often but the last few meals I had with them was a disappointing experience.

I tried this place during their opening season, when they had an abbreviated menu. The food was plentiful, fresh and tasty. I also had my first taste of Citron Yuja Tea, which I now drink daily. Keep up the good work…but maybe keep the bubble gum Korean pop music videos and movies to a minimum?

Got take out from here. The Sushi was wonderful and their Salad and Soup was delicious. I will come back again and try eating in the restaurant next time. It looked very clean and really nice.

The food wasnt bad. Portions were not big but thats what you get for Japanese food. I tried this place because of scout mob. 50% off upto $10 valid for 1 table. Me and my friend ordered the sushi/sashimi box which was $12. It was depicted to come with a soup, salad, sashimi, sushi, and 2 dumplings. The meal should have been $24-10=$14 plus tax if paid on one check. She tried to make it seem like it only one perperson. Then the lady charged me $2 per box. so $4 extra since i was using scoutmob. Total of just under $30 including tip. When i initially placed my order it was never stated that it would be $2 extra for soup and salad. If you order a burger they ask if you want fries with that ( they basically charged me because of scoutmob) So one was very mislead. After tax/tip it was pretty much regular price. I left a cash tip. She chased me down and insisted i pay an extra 18% for gratuity after that. Honestly if you wanted good sushi at a fair price and willing to drive a bit try Sushi Yoko. However they dont have the fancy rolls this place has.

I just left this place and I loved it! Food was delicious and the service was super friendly. Would recommend the California tempura platter, it was incredibly good. also: best miso soup I’ve ever had. A++++

Finally good sushi. Been all around Atlanta trying to find good sushi. Found it here! . Best spicy tuna rolls in the south. Rice was good and portions are great with a good price tag.
