The atmosphere is A+ you will be so impressed with the decor. It’s a minimalist style with gorgeous accents including a live plant wall. The service was on point – very friendly and attentive. I will come back here for the margaritas alone because they are huge, fresh, and way too easy to drink! They comes in beautiful glasses (that are for sale as well). The Mexican rockets – basically stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon are incredible. We both ordered quesadillas that were huge, the El Gringo hit the spot. This is a great place for a date night. No it’s not cheap but it’s worth it for fresh ingredients and good atmosphere vibes. Can’t wait to come back and hang at the bar. Perfect addition to growing West Annapolis.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! I never leave reviews but felt compelled after some overly harsh critics deemed themselves keyboard professionals on here. The $16 margaritas are well sized well poured and good fresh quality – no sugared bottle mix here. Food is fresh, with filling and healthier options. Service was fast and friendly! Stoked to be a regular here.

This review feels overly critical given agave is getting off the ground over last month, but have now been twice and had two very negative experiences. Bar/ dining room is strangely loud. (loud enough that you cannot hear the person across the table from you.) It is not a family friendly location, with signs noting that strollers are not welcome in dining room. The service is slow and transactional. Food is good, but hard to justify a $30 burrito.

Four of us really enjoyed the Queso Dip and Salsa. The rest of the meal was Okay except for the Chicken Quesadilla which had very little chicken and was somewhat dry. The two ladies had Frozen Maragrita’s which I was told had very little liquor in them. The build out is very nice and attractive. For a Mexican restaurant, we found the prices to be extremely high for the items we ordered. But what really drives my two star review is the atmosphere was extremely loud to the point where we were yelling to converse. And what made matters most uncomfortable was the “ice box” temperature with a fan on high just above our table. The girls were so uncomfortable (as was I) they were unable to enjoy their frozen drinks. Perhaps the restaurant being new is still in a “trying to figure it out” mode.

This may be the new “it” place in West Annapolis, but I would rather have a margarita down the street, if Mexican Café was still open! I truly can’t believe the prices for food that is standard fare, with a flair of creativity. It is $16 for chili and almost $18 for a Caesar salad! By the way, that Caesar salad is just plain salad, but you can get chicken on it for another $13.50 or, a filet for $23. That’s a $40 salad! A burrito is almost $22 and it is a standard burrito. There is nothing to it! Their version of happy hour is from 2-4 and has an affordable $8 margarita. Is that really “happy hour?” Their staff is friendly, but already overworked. If you want authentic Mexican food, there are plenty of other local spots that have great food at an even better price.

Everything was spectacular!! The atmosphere is great and feels so comfortable: the drinks are on point, freshly made no bottled mix; food was so delicious, everything was cooked perfect. Service was to notch. We frequent the Lewes,Delaware location and this location is totally comparable. We will totally be back.

The atmosphere and decoration is impeccable. It wows you as soon as you enter. Service was great as well. Can’t say the same thing for the food though. I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadilla. My friend ordered the fish tacos. Her plate was huge with 2 big tacos and rice and beans. I got 4 little triangles of cut quesadilla with no flavor. What a let down. I can make a better one at home. My friend liked hers so mine might have been a bad choice but isn’t everything on the menu supposed to be good? It was overpriced for what I had.
