I have been to Seneca about 5 different times now. I have been here for both lunch and dinner. I visit mostly for the aesthetics. Beautiful views and decor that feels like you are in Italy. Food is pretty good as well but it takes forever to come out. I know this, so I am always prepared to not come in starving. Come for lunch instead of dinner, and if you can during the week it is a lot quieter with better service.

For starters, this restaurant has one of the most beautiful views of the city. The whole place has a warm yet luxurious aesthetic. We had the oxtail lasagna and Margherita pizza with Perfect Timing cocktail and some shots. Definitely worth the visit. Top tier food. The hosts at the front are sweet and funny, and the bartenders David and Scott made the experience all worth the while. I highly recommend a visit.

We stumbled upon Seneca from a TikTok, specifically some stretched mozzarella appetizer that was an over the top presentation. Unfortunately, this was off the menu when we visited (SDCC 2023) which we discovered after being seated, but we were happy to give the place a shot anyway.

We went to the harbor to watch the sun set and randomly found this place. The huge light-up sign in front of the building caught our eye! We honestly didn’t know what to expect but we took the elevator all the way up anyway. You exit into a night oasis. The entrance to the actual restaurant can be difficult to locate especially if you’ve never been there before and your eyes are still adjusting to the darkness. We eventually found our way to a classy, indoor/outdoor rooftop dining area.

Delicious Roman Italian food accompanied by an amazing view! This place is beautiful! Gorgeous out door patio that is super lush with greenery. Beautiful indoor dining as well and views of the bay and downtown San Diego every where you look! I’m definitely bringing all my family and friends here!

Beautiful place I mean every bit of it is so nicely decorated. Since there’s a lot of construction in area only some of the views are nice. As for the food and drinks I have to say the drinks were delicious while the food was a bit lack luster. Great place for Happy Hour at Sunset but many save dinner for somewhere else.
