We are staying at Hogsveil, and on the restaurant sheet, Sauced was recommended. Because the Hubs’ last name is Saucedo, AND the sheet said best Mac and cheese around it was a no-brainer. It was no lie… Holy moly, the Mac and cheese is totally amazing! He got brisket and sausage, and I got brisket and smoked bologna. I love bologna… but if you don’t, the smoked bologna will change your mind. Hubs looked at me and said… this isn’t bologna. The brisket was very tender, and all 3 sauces were very good and with their own amount of kick. We thoroughly enjoyed sour lunch and the company of Shastah. She took great care of us and not being from the area gave us great recommendations for things to do and see. Go by and see them!

Great BBQ restaurant and worth the stop! LARGE portions of food – 1/2 rack of ribs w/fries is enough to share and feed two, three or four! The Three meat sampler (Brisket, Smoked Turkey Breast & Smoked Sausage) and two sides (hubby chose fried okra and wicked baked beans) was delicious & so much food we happily grabbed to-go containers to enjoy again later. Ladies up at the register were friendly and helpful. We will stop here again!

Best BBQ we’ve ever had! My husband got the 2 meat sandwich (he chose the brisket and pork) and mac-n-cheese. The meat fell apart, had no fat, and had the best smoky flavor. The mac-n-cheese was perfection with lots of cheese sauce. I got the 2 meat sampler with the sausage and pork with fried okra. Again, the pork was perfect and the sausage was the die for! No BBQ was needed for the meats but we tried some and WOW! Even the sauce was amazing! The fried okra was spot on being crunchy and slightly salty, which I love. For dessert we each got a chocolate chip cookie. If they can be called cookies as they were the size of small diner plates! Amazing! And no chocolate chips, they had chunks, huge chunks of chocolate!!

Absolutely incredible barbecue. Nice staff amazing owner and fresh delicious food. Turkey melts in your mouth and don’t even get me started on the wings. Actually do, because they are my favorite wings of all time. Never had wings where I don’t even need ranch or think about it because the flavor is so amazing. They are HUGE and so juicy and the crust is so flavorful. Go here. The quality is still amazing years down the road.

Nothing to write home about. I ordered the brisket sandwich and chips. The brisket was fatty, overcooked,and tasted like it was soaked in a product such as “Liquid Smoke”. I love brisket but couldn’t finish the sandwich. The Lay’s chips were good though.

Service is order at the counter, friendly and fast. Went on a Sunday afternoon, not busy at all. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and white cheddar Mac and cheese. The pulled pork was delicious but a little fatty, the Mac and cheese was delicious. The house bbq sauce was delicious as well. They were out of the bologna which I would have preferred.

Pork ribs were perfect. Sausage and pulled pork were great too. Brisket was underwhelming but I’m spoiled by good brisket in Texas. Sides were fantastic. Reasonably priced — a good value by today’s standards. Good craft beer selection too.
