They had me with the tea in the big a** mason jar. We’re always looking for new places to eat and stumbled upon this hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. The birria tacos were pretty good. My wife had street tacos that she said were pretty good as well. This is by far one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants on the coast in my opinion. They could definitely compete on a bigger level with any of the name brand restaurant here. Jalapeños, El Rancho, El Saltillos etc. We’ll definitely be back.

The portions you get for the price are awesome. I got a taco Salad that was well-sized and a delicious horchata drink. The taco salad wasn’t that tasty but the side of rice and beans was great. I would also recommend getting fried oreos if you have never tried some before. The server was very welcoming and did her best for the large group I was with.

I had the birria tacos and it was one of the best I have eaten! The tacos have a lot of meat and cheese and the tortilla is dipped in the birria before cooking it as it should be. The consomé has a lot of flavor and they give you chopped onion and cilantro on the side to add to your tacos. The horchata was really refreshing and delicious, and comes in a big jar. Service was great. The server told me the owner is from Jalisco, where birria is their specialty plate. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. Will definitely come back!

My coworkers and I frequent this place almost weekly. The Mexican food is authentic, validated by my Mexican-raised husband who hasn’t seen many of the items on this menu for years. I’m addicted to their tacos and wish I could try other items on the menu but continue to be satisfied with the tacos. I particularly really love their birria tacos, made with melted cheese inside. They are larger than street tacos and reasonably priced. My coworkers enjoy their enormous burritos. I do love trying all their drinks served in a large mason jar (horchata, watermelon, mango, cantaloupe, strawberry, jamaica). Its located on a quiet street next to the AF base so they don’t get any traffic – I think the only traffic really is for this establishment.

Really good food, not too expensive. Had the California burrito which was delicious, though an absolute mess, the ends weren’t tucked in. However also had the Tostadas de Ceviche, and it’s some of the best ceviche I’ve had in years. Absolutely delicious! And the house made Horchata is fantastic!

Came here for the first time last week. After a year of living here I hadn’t heard of this place and haven’t had any good Mexican since we got here. It’s in a hidden location but a friend introduced me to it. It was phenomenal. Went on my lunch and the the service was quick and the birra tacos were amazing. Happy to have found a good restaurant for our time here and will definitely be back often!
