Good country BBQ joint, thats right in between a hole in the wall and corporate sized bbq place. You can say it’s a hometown place where ghe locals go to eat. My catfish was super crispy and the sausage was amazing.

Awesomeness!! Loved the BBQ and the lemon pie was by far the best I have ever had. I can’t speak for the inside of the restaurant because I went through the drive through but the employees seemed extremely friendly and quick. I will be back.

Food was typical barbque. Too much sauce on the ribs but otherwise ok.

I must confess, I was rather disappointed in the food here. I wouldn’t have expected Arizona (where I live) to have better BBQ and sides than Alabama, home of BBQ. The people were friendly but the price we paid was exhorbitant, especially for the quality of the food. BBQ meats should be able to stand on their own, using a sauce to enhance the flavor, not create it. I have never seen chicken in a BBQ restaurant served as, essentially, cubed rather than shredded. I had to fight the spare rib for its meat, which in places seemed actually undercooked. The sausage was flavorful. The Mac N Cheese was mushy and bland, the potato salad lacking flavor; the beans were the star of the sides, being nicely seasoned with a nice zip on the end. I’ve never had Brunswick Stew before, and based on this version, I have no reason to try it again. It was as if hot water had been poured over meat and vegetables and served up. Had I been anywhere else but here, or Tennessee and Texas, I wouldn’t have been surprised at this offering but since Alabama is known for its BBQ, I had my expectations high, only to be let down.

Very clean and friendly staff, food was very good. The BBQ is very good, has good flavor. My wife got the pulled pork and really enjoyed it and the beans are very good I got the ribs, they had good flavor but had a lot of fat and was tough. I had couldn’t chew up a lot of the rib meat and had to pull a lot of fat off. Other than the ribs everything was good.

This place used to be great. Sadly, not any more. I was not greeted when I came in. I asked for the grilled chicken salad with no carrots then heard the person fixing it yelling saying they weren’t picking them out. Other food was OK. Didn’t get any drinks. When I went up to pay my ticket she rang it up. I paid. Then directly after she added four drinks to my order and put ticket away. I feel sorry for whoever is blamed for and is charged for drinks I never ordered or received. A restaurant is only as good as there employees and owner make it. Not impressed. Work together, be nice, it’s not a competition, and above all… Be honest. They will not receive my business again. It makes me sad.
