Hands down THE BEST Falafel I’ve had. I like the crunch on the outside and soft juicy moistness on the inside. Very well made. Order was a breeze and no wait, everyone was so polite and friendly place was really clean. Definitely will be going back, the 1hr 9m drove is definitely quiet it with the family.

Green Chops has the best salads, soups and smoothies. Out of this world. I’m so glad I work nearby. I’ve been coming here weekly for lunch for a year now. Their green squash soup and summer smoothie are out of this world you must try! The place is so clean as well and the employees who are always there are very kind and always a pleasure to see. The owner is the rudest person I have ever encountered. I rushed in with a 17 month year old baby trying to grab lunch before heading back to work and I left my mask. When I entered the store the owner started yelling don’t you see the sign on the door? I said I’m sorry I’m was rushing do you have one I can use? He said no go back to your car. I’ve worked in the Montclair area for over three years and I will be sure to never recommend this place to anyone. There is a right and wrong way to treat and talk to people!

I agree with a user “blue soup”. No other place in that Watchung Avenue area in Monclair requires a mask… The minute I walked in, the man said rudely, “read the sign on door, wear a mask” even though the woman next to him smiled, did not have the mask over her nose, and seemed happy to serve me.

I agree with these reviews. I wore a mask when I went in there and he was still rude. He is old school and not customer friendly. He should stay in the back and let his workers run his business but you can tell he is the type that micromanages his workers and yells at them. I don’t know how you could work for him.
