Our traveling Church Men’s luncheon group met here last week. It’s a wonderful, old time neighborhood bar with a very great kitchen, too. Our server, Shannon was amazing at keeping our orders straight and our checks, separate. We rarely talk “church” stuff, but the tenor of the conversations are usually very interesting and always pleasant.

Really just like this place. Friendly and timely service, comfortable bar seats, small draught selection is rotated often so there’s usually something new to try, wife and I love playing darts here, and to top it all off they have PB&J in the menu!

Great local bar. Dark, as this kind of bar should be. Go there a couple times and they will recognize you which is nice. Affordable beer specials, a decent selection of micro brews too. Enough seating, even at peak times you don’t need to wait for a seat. I love their kitchen – they have a smallish menu but do excel at everything they try – I’ll take that over a huge menu of average reheated food service products any day. They don’t have a deep fryer but would you believe me if I said you don’t miss it?

Normally this place is phenomenal – but there was a big sign in the parking lot that they weren’t able to serve anything but a frozen pizza. If you’re closed or kitchen is closed – just shut entire place down.
