Great Mexican food. It’s hard to find authentic Mexican food and we were just passing through and decided to try their food. It was a pleasant surprise. Homemade chips, great salsas, chimichangas, and tamales. It isn’t the best we ever had but it sure isn’t the worst. I’d recommend them for sure.

Mi Mexico is a small but wonderful eatery with attentive staff (even when busy on Fourth of July weekend). Margaritas are huge and the Tacos Mexicanas are to die for. Portions are big so be prepared.

A very clean restaurant with an extensive menu. A very hospitable owner, happy to talk about his native town which picture is on the menu. A larger platter than I’m used to. The beans and guacamole were chunky which seemed more authentic. The salsa was good, and mild for this German (my heritage). Vegetarian chimichanga was a nice change for me. I was enroute from Des Moines to Richmond and lingered long for a much needed unwind. I’d go back next time I’m up that way.
