I absolutely love Fred’s, it’s like a well-kept secret tucked away in the East Lot in downtown Fredonia. The food is outstanding, they have daily specials so you never know what they can be, anything from burritos to lobster rolls – and it’s all delicious. The chef who runs it really knows his stuff, especially seafood – Fred’s has the best fish fry I have ever had and being a life long Western New Yorker that is really saying something. It’s a small restaurant, and I mean small, but it’s cozy and the staff always make you feel welcome, I love it and it follows the Fredonia theme of tiny restaurants.

For a family of five this was a great spot with good food. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and the pasta was perfectly cooked. The cowboy burger was not cooked the way that was requested but it was good. The Buffalo wings were so crispy and well marinated in sauce. The service was spectacular! Cara was just lovely, considering she seemed to be the only person waiting tables. Overall pretty good experience.

We were hungry after the fair googled restaurants by me. Figured we would try it. Omg so happy we did. Can’t wait to go back. Service was great. Food even the kids loved it. Those mushroons and pretzel sticks were the best. I want to go back for chicken wings. Build you own burger yum. Everyone loves the mac n cheese. Cant wait to return.

Good little local hole in the wall bar and restaurant. I had the Fresco burger with a salad and it was very good. My wife had the Cesar salad with shrimp and she enjoyed it as well. Good, attentive service as well!

Amazing Experience!!! Not only was the food absolutely amazing, the prices are too. You definitely get what you paid for. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The bartender was outstanding and was willing to make a drink that wasn’t on the menu! I will definitely be going again!
