The food was great. I had the grouper sandwich, and it was perfect. My wife had all you can eat fish and really enjoyed that. My son said that the chicken sandwich was one of the best that you could get. My daughter enjoyed the wings. I would highly recommend and return again.

Loved the view!! Service was pretty good. Did not like the overcooked and under seasoned crab and lobster and three day old brown iceberg salad. Oh and also rockafella oysters with so much cheese you can’t taste the oysters.

This was just a simple local community spot we had heard of so we made it our date night. It didn’t disappoint. From the Oysters to the meals to the ice cold Stella bottles and the funny guys in the band. It was just a great atmosphere.

The place is a 5+, the food is… 3.5ish. The location is beautiful, out on the barrier islands of the gulf. The staff were uncommonly gracious and the band was outstanding. We had good roasted oysters and hush puppies for appetizers. . I had a sampler of fried cod, scallops and shrimp. That’s the order they come in for flavor. Cod was great, scallops were good but their batter was too tough. Shrimp weren’t very good. Big lunch for 4 with a lot of beer was $200. Super fun place. Recommended.

Food was OK, sent a broiled scallop dinner back (overcooked with oil, not butter!) but our server Karin was entertaining and on point all night and more than took care of us! The clam chowder was delicious as was the broccoli cheese soup and fried shrimp dinner! And a pretty good view for outside dining. Oh yeah… Can’t forget the awesome margaritas and pina colada margarita!

Nice restaurant and scenery. Food was fresh, hot and overall memorable! Nice staff, great 80s music and cool Florida vibe along with the awesome deck by the river with entertaining wildlife!

Another disappointing “seafood restaurant” on the coast. The food is overpriced and tastes like it was pulled out of the freezer and put together. No Snapper, Grouper, or Bay scallops which I don’t understand considering how much they charge for food and the fact they are a restaurant with history in Florida. The outdoor eating view is excellent! The history is pretty cool, but our waitress didn’t know much about the history nor have answers to our questions so we had to look it up ourselves. Apparently the drinks are good but we had to drive back to Orlando so we didn’t have one.

#1 issue Beware they put gratuity on our bill and didn’t tell us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were 6 people. We were seated in a timely fashion but waited 20 minutes for a wait staff to come to our table. A table sat after us and they were served before us. Also our favorite item on the menu which was the salmon is no longer on the current menu which isn’t the same menu on the website. So that was another disappointment #2 issue and then our granddaughter is highly allergic to wheat (gluten free) & eggs. The children’s menu wasn’t able to feed her. We asked for a broiled piece of fish in exchanged for fried fish on the children menu. Our waitress Melinda said if she went into the kitchen and asked that right now they would go crazy and it would upset everyone back there. I said our family owned a restaurant and I would be happy to go ask them. She then went to ask her manager. When she returned she said the manager would cook it. That I don’t believe but whatever. Then our food arrived and our prime rib was cold, but the all you can eat fish Frey was good. Pricey on the children broiled fish that was specially cooked. (Just grilled on a sizzler)

We were exploring the area and decided to stop here. We ordered the fried clam strips and a cold one. What a gem! It’s a shame it is not actually an inn. They also have live entertainment and Thursday prime rib!
