Went there to eat I honestly didn’t think it was gonna be good. Walked in and found out that they had buffet. It was a small buffet bar but big enough to have a little bit of everything. They had Chile rellenos probably the best that I have had in New Mexico. Good food and good service definitely will stop by again next time I’m close by.

My wife and I stopped in today driving through town. We had omelettes that were excellent. I wish we lived in the area because it would be great to make this a regular place for us. We told the waitress we will be in when we come through next spring.

Passed through Tatum a few months ago and like small business so decided to try out Ramirez restaurant. The food and prices were good, but this Labor day weekend we were passing through again and stopped for dinner. The food and service was good like we remembered, but when we checked out the bill seemed funny to me. I asked to look at the charges. Turns out they charged my family for our ice waters without telling us, a $12.75 charge. I was very shocked. We have four little kids who don’t drink caffeinated or sugar drinks. If I had known about the charge for water, I would have not ordered it and just enjoyed the dinner. I calmly recommended to the server to be sure and tell her customers from now on to keep guests from getting upset. I work in food services and am still just surprised by this. Sadly, we will not be returning to Ramirez.

Very good spot to stop and eat that was open in this little town. Tacos were super good, tried some asado that was good as well. Person in group ordered green chili cheese burger and said awesome.. chips and salsa were rock solid.. lots to choose from on menu

This is an awesome little place. I make sure and stop in at least once everytime I visit home. It is staffed with really good people and has nice selection of freshly made items to choose from.

Raised on Mexican Food from New Mexico and Texas respectively . . . my boyfriend and I both feel that this was the best meal we’ve ever eaten in a cafe! Tasted as if it was cooked in my cousin’s Abuelita’s kitchen. The chips and salsa they brought to the table were warm and so damn delicious I couldn’t stop eating them! The guacamole was fresh with onions and lime juice and may be the best guacamole I’ve ever had in my life. Seriously. And while the chile rellenos weren’t quite as good as the ones they used to serve at Ben’s Spanish Inn in Pecos, Texas back in the 70’s and 80’s, they were pretty darn tasty.

The best Mexican food buffet I’ve ever had. Lots of really good meat—carne guisada, carnitas, enchiladas, chile rellenos, and meatball soup and caldo. The service is excellent. We will definitely be back.
