Today June 22nd 2023 I came to grab a bite and let me tell you. GOOD TO GO IS RIGHT, when we pulled up we saw Jamaicans leaving. If you know then you know if people from that culture is leaving the place it’s a good one. That assumption has not driven me in the wrong direction yet. I was served by a beautiful young lady by the name of tamaria. Her customer service was kind, attentive and quick. I can tell she’s shy but her service did not lack one bit. THE FOOD WHEW THE FOOD, I had oxtail Mac and cheese rice and peas and plantain. So boom THE OXTAIL WAS SO TENDER I WOULD SLAP somebody lmao. DELICIOUSNESS. Mac and cheese and rice and peas were fine. Lastly the plantain cooked perfectly, sweet, soft and a good portion. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant, the service, and the atmosphere.

A small gem. We came on a weekday so it was rather slow business, the waiter was super sweet and very helpful. The food was perfect and the portions plenty. I would have loved to try a dessert cake but we were too full from the amazing food.

No signs posted about seating or ordering and no one greeting me upon entry at noon hour. It seems the staff is catering to the familiar regular customers. Didn’t see a waitress at all so I went to counter to place my order and I was told to take a seat. While waiting, I observed people entering and taking seats with waitresses appearing and attending to them. When my order was ready, it was packaged to go. So I retook a seat to eat out of styrofoam while those around me ate off regular plates with silverware and I was totally ignored by staff. The curry chicken has no spicy flavor to it. The side of cabbage was the best part of the meal. When finished, I had to tote out my own garbage. I didn’t know the routine here and I would not recommend this for someone not already familiar with the restaurant as it is not user friendly to outside visitors.

The food was good, but overpriced for the amount of food I received. Small plate of Oxtails, beans, and rice was $18 with tax. I have been to many other true Jamaican restaurants and got a large plate, with food coming out of the box, for less than that. So this would have to just be for a treat or special occasion.

Three of my co-workers had a hankering for some Jamaican food so we decided to stop at this restaurant to eat. It was my first time trying Jamaican Food, I enjoyed my Chicken Curry with white rice and sweet plantains. The restaurant was clean and the server was on it. This place gets an A+ from my part and I do recommend it.

I went for the goat but there was no goat before lunch time . The food is always good and the portions are always big. I had jerk chicken and pork, best I’ve ever had to this point. The new location is really nice. Nice family atmosphere. Added bonus the new location has a DJ playing music.

I walked in and sat at a table. No one acknowledged me. I walked over to the carry out counter and was told if I wanted to dine in to give my order to the lady at the bar. I then walked over to the bar and the lady stood there looking at her cell phone. She never acknowledged my presence, so I left. Rude and inattentive staff. No one offered to say hello or take my order. There were a total of 5 dine in patrons at the time. I have lived in Hinesville for 30 years and never experienced this. I was unable to dine in or carry out. Disappointing.

The atmosphere was awesome! Everyone was enjoying meals, drinks from the bar and the outside porch setting! Reminded me of a family gathering! We had take out Food was Amazing! Definitely going back!
