Stopped in while driving through Simonton. Couldn’t decide what to order so a I grabbed the mushroom swiss on sourdough, and the skrimp po-boy. The burger was excellent and the sourdough bun was very good. The po-boy had great skrimp that were breaded perfectly. Also, the people working there were super friendly. I’ll definitely stop in next time I’m in town.

Hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. This is a very nice and clean little restaurant inside of a local country store by Wallis, TX. I highly recommend it 🙂

The atmosphere and location are excellent. My food was wonderful, patty melt, mashed potatoes, and creamy broccoli. My wife got the chicken dinner and said it was overcooked. We both enjoyed it though

Not a fancy place, but we had a great breakfast of my tacos and she had a plate with medium eggs and hash browns

If they don’t know you, they will take your order, ignore you, and never bring your food out. We were there close to an hour and never got to eat.

Amazing fried pickle spears with jalapeño ranch. Broccoli rice casserole was awesome and my wife loved the fried shrimp too. Perfect atmosphere for a road side cafe.

This place is the definition of southern hospitality! The waitress was so incredibly kind and is such a hard worker. We live a little bits away but will definitely return for a good old home cooked meal.
