We ate here after seeing an ad for all day catfish on Fridays. I love catfish but I was disappointed because the “catfish” was actually the “asian catfish”. This is no disrespect to this restaurant because many restaurants have started switching to the asian catfish because it is cheaper. Even a much closer locally owned restaurant that is closer to us has started serving this fish as filets also. They luckily sell “catfish steaks” too, which is what I always get. No wat to substitute for them. 🙂 There are some select states that pride themselves on catfish (Louisiana, Texas, etc.) that have had to pass laws prohibiting restaurants from advertising “catfish” unless it is true catfish. I just personally prefer the taste of true catfish, but it is my understanding that some people might prefer this fish. I just don’t think it has much flavor at all except for the breading. For the record, the breading here was fine. Also, I would add that while we were here we were able to see other customers who had some of the Tex-Mex style food they also serve. It actually looked so good that we will probably return in the future to try some of it. My wife had a cheeseburger. It was made with fresh ground beef and was pretty good.

Stopped by on our way through town. Everything was very delicious. The fish was Amazing. All the staff was friendly and attentive. The place was decorated so bright and cheery. All together a great place! Hopefully we’ll be able to stop back by.

Fish was dry tasting like it was cooked too long. . Hushpuppies were small and hard and were hot with hot peppers .I don’t like hot stuff. . Beans different .
