First time for us. We popped in on a Monday around 2pm and the restaurant was busy with lots of college kids. Sake is very unassuming from the outside, the decor is simple but functional. It has the feel of a comfortable beloved neighborhood venue. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was tasty and authentic, the sushi freshly made, leaving you wanting more. We did not feel rushed or pressured, but rather very welcome. We met the owner who had that morning received a plaque from the Chamber of Commerce of Lebanon for being a favored business. If you are in the mood for truly authentic sushi and hibachi then a visit to Sake is a must.

We found this place about 2 months ago and I’m so glad we did! It’s small and unassuming, but they have great food at a great price and even when they’re busy you can get in and out pretty quickly. The menu is simple. Hibachi and Teriyaki, Sushi, a few appetizers, a dessert and common drinks. The staff is always friendly and service is fast. The first time we ate there it was less than $32 (included a decent tip) for 2 of us and it only took 50 minutes. That was in a Friday night/ packed house! We tell everyone about Sake now. I’ll take photos next time we’re there to add to this review.

Busy! Hibachi vegetables were good but the meat was a bit dry, with lighter seasoning. The sushi rolls carried the meal! I particularly liked the crunchy eel roll and the Tennessean roll. Definitely planning to come back to enjoy again.

I’m not sure what happened to their food. The steak and shrimp were really dried out. Rice had no flavor. Sad, we enjoyed eating here.

Love this restaurant. Service is wonderful and the employees are always very efficient and friendly. Giving the food a 3.8 though. It’s good, undoubtedly, but out of my last 5 visits, 3 of those meals were subpar. The steak was tough and very chewy and the zucchini and other veggies were overcooked and tasted burnt on one occasion. I have braces & not supposed to chew anything super sticky or chewy so the doggies got the steak those nights and momma chowed down on that delicious chicken, rice and yum sauce! Definitely check this place out folks.
