The food was really good, the waiters were very nice, and the service was quick. The only things that could be complained about are the serving sizes(specifically of the chimichangas). The food was amazing, though and I would recommend eating here!

We were in town overnight before flying out the next morning and stopped at this small restaurant based on good reviews. We were not disappointed!!! The food was great—fish tacos, torts de asada, ceviche mix, and chili verde were AMAZING.

Definitely want to take a minute to pay compliment to everyone at El Mojito. The experience was phenomenal, from the very friendly and efficient staff to the dinner, which was OUTSTANDING. Not only were my Steak Fajitas flavorful and delicious, the portion size was so large that I couldn’t finish it in one setting, which almost NEVER happens. Please take a day and make the drive over to Donelson to this restaurant and get you some truly authentic Mexican cuisine. You’ll be glad you did. I’ll definitely be back for more!!!

Resturant hours and days of operation have changed a lot in the past few years. We were happy to find El Mojito’s open. Food was fine and the staff were kind, but the prices have noticeably changed as well.

This location is a great little spot to get some delicious food. The staff is very friendly and they are attentive, the kitchen prepares the food pretty quick which is nice if you are limited on time. My go to is the rice and chicken and I love to use the green sauce to make some delicious tacos.

What good is any food if the restaurant doesn’t provide an atmosphere that diners enjoy? That is the biggest problem. The apparent manager seems pretty lazy. My last time in she was sitting on her but, talking on speakerphone loudly. It was incredibly rude. When asked if she was going to stay on the phone she said “No, I won’t”. Then went back on to her call and said they could go someplace else. Great idea. There are a lot of good Mexican food options around.

Really tasty chile verde! I got it with the homemade tortillas–thick and tender and delicious. The salsa verde was tangy and very flavorful. Even the rice and beans were stellar. Very impressive food, and generous portions. Friendly service too. Will definitely be back.
