The food was really good and we loved the portions they gave us. Most places only give you strips of fried fish or nuggets but babeee Ms. Dorothy gives not 1, not 2 but 3 WHOLE catfish filets along with not 2 but 3 sides. Omg, the collard greens, the cabbage and the yams were all so delicious !!! Will be going back there when I come back in town. And the lady who waited on us ( so sorry I didn’t get her name) but she was so nice and friendly.

There is nothing like Dorothy’s. True Southern creole cuisine. Everything I have ever had is always cooked to perfection. This is surely an experience for anyone traveling to Louisiana. You will never be the same. Dorothy’s is my favorite place to eat.

The baked chicken was delicious and just fell off the bone! The gravy is incredible and the homemade macaroni & cheese – you must try it! So yummy! The collard greens and yams were awesome too! And thank you so much for the sampling of chitlins!

No inside dining.. due to COVID??? ♀️ Food was ok but not really worth going back. Everything had lots of sugar in it.. the greens, cabbage and Sweet potatoes had lots of extra sugar
