The food is great but the service has gone way down hill. It’s always hectic with stressed out and less than helpful people working the front counter. They have also recently raised prices while cutting portions on their daily special. With the combination of sub par service and less value for the money…I won’t be returning.

Today was my first visit. I went for a late lunch-early dinner. I had the spicy chicken with a scoop of white rice and a side salad, plus a side of gyoza. It was so good! The gyoza was crispy with a tangy dipping sauce. I used the rest on top of the rice. But the spicy chicken was my favorite. The sauce is creamy with modest amount of heat. There is sriracha at the table if you prefer a little more bite. I will definitely be back. I think I was the only person dining at that time of day. The a/c felt great.

Great spot for lunch or dinner, eat there (no booze) or take home. Always fresh, huge portions. Staff super friendly and willing to work with you whether it’s allergies or just an aversion to veggies like my husband!! So many choices!! Very good!!

I came here for lunch on a Friday. The service was quick and staff/owner is quite friendly. Most teriyaki places I’ve been to have good to great taste and Ichi 27 is no different. However, the chicken and pork were very moist along with being full of flavor. So I’d say this is the best teriyaki I’ve had! The prices are lower than expected especially for being in the downtown Vancouver area. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to the table I sat at wasn’t super clean and the condiment bottles was sticky. Other than that, this place was great! I had the teriyaki chicken and pork

Their food is decent, but I have had multiple issues whenever I order food from here for delivery (UberEATS). They would consistently send teriyaki chicken instead of katsu (three separate times). I gave up and order japchae from them because they couldn’t seem to do the katsu and it is hard to find other places that do spicy chicken and japchae. Only for them to cut the portion by a large amount and no longer add vegetables. It is now just noodles and a small portion of chicken. It isn’t worth it for the price.

I’ve been to the Ichi Teriyaki locations all around the Vancouver metro area, and this is the best one I’ve found. They have the most comprehensive menu and surprisingly decent prices for some of the specials. Even better, the service is phenomenal. The employee who helped me when I was there was one of the friendliest I’ve ever met, and provided quick and fast service.
