It was so good, I literally fell asleep at the table . I ordered food for the next few days. The Owner was there an he shared a few of his favorite recipes with me. I love this place. They have Truck parking. Most definitely will be coming back. Easy pull off the hwy area… for trucks or cars .

Back again all the way from California. I remember telling the owner next time I bring a load to Toyota that I would definitely be back. This place has the best Mexican food in a 50-mile radius, hands down. Better bring a pillow because after a meal like this, you’re going to get some good rest.

It was my first time here. I had the nopalitos con huevos with flour tortillas. I don’t usually order nopalitos but I thought I’d give it a try here. To my pleasant surprise, it was outstanding!! The only reason I docked them one star is the service. Both my co-worker and I ran out of Coke zero and it took a long time for the waitress to come by and offer a refill. Other than that, I will definitely visit this place next time I pass through. And, I would recommend it to others.

The food was good could use more seasoning though. The table salsa has way to much jalapeno blended in. The only bad part was at the end. When we finished eating we waited 10 minutes for a waitress so we could get a to-go container. Finally just got up and went to ask the guy doing cashier. But still had to wait for him to get done talking before he wanted to help me.

He a few times a week from California and it’s great to finally find some true authentic Mexican food. Staff was great and the owner even came by to say hello. Food has great flavor. The molé was very very very good can’t wait to come again

This is my parents favorite place to eat every Sunday after church so this is where they wanted us all to go after mass for their anniversary. I had the cheese enchiladas with carne guisada. It was good, not great. I had a margarita which was pretty tart, I was told they weren’t allowed to serve until noon. I looked up the law because I thought she was wrong and according to Texas law we are allowed to buy alcoholic beverage after 10am with our meal. She made me wait 20 minutes.

Great place to get a good meal. We were passing through and staying at one of the nearby RV parks when we saw this close by. They have a full menu of great options and seemed pretty popular with SA residents. I got a few sopes/gorditas with chicken and asada and my husband tried the carne guisada. Both were delicious. We dug in before I could snap a pic. Highly recommend!

Small family type establishment. Excellent food and great staff. One gentleman in particular who is always there (the owner I assume) even walks around asking guests if everything is ok.. The chips and salsa at the start of my meal is always delicious and the red sauce for my fajitas is amazing. Highly recommend. I’m working in town and will be here atleast once a week the whole time.

This place has a lot of warning signs, it’s right next to the highway, its next to a gas station, and its in van ormy. Despite these factors I was pleasantly suprised at how good the food and service were. The menu is nice in that they offer a little bit of everything fish, hamburgers, pasta. There is alot more Mexican dishes however. I ordered a hamburger and my wife the carne asada tacos, and both were good. The main drawback is that despite the variety of the menu it was still limited.
