This was my first time trying this and I can’t believe how horrible the food was. To be charged 50 dollars and get what we got was absolutely insane and nothing we got was worth anything we paid. The sandwich was dry no mayo, no mustard like I requested because I didn’t eat the creole mustard. The sandwich was toasted which I didn’t want so I didn’t eat much of it. The pizza was okay but nothing to brag about. Macaroni was horrible and pasta salad was plain and boring no peppers or anything like it describes in the menu.The only thing out of the whole meal that I did eat was the strawberry cake and that was so wet it was like a sponge cake but the Flavor was very good. It took me a while to calm down and not call the restaurant and just start screaming but I will never go back nor recommend this place to anyone. I truly can’t believe we spent 50 dollars on it. Almost all the food is sitting on the counter and now is going to be wasted along with the money we spent. The pictures attached will show you why I’m so angry

Very nice, spacious dining room with indoor and outdoor seating. Delicious sandwiches and soups. The Shrimp Po Boy and Gumbo were tasty. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

Me, my wife and son and a couple of family members just ate at this place for a private dinner. Evidently they’ve been temporarily closed and we were invited for lunch / or dinner to eat off the full menu all expenses paid! The place was very clean. The employees were very nice and helpful and the experience was wonderful.. I had a chicken/olive/ tomato pizza with a Caesar salad. My sister n law had a big Cobb salad and a bar b que pizza. Everybody was satisfied with their meals! Would definitely recommend this place when they reopen which is April 29th!

Food was great. Portions were comical. I paid $4 for pasta salad and it was the smallest portion. Maybe 3 oz of pasta salad. We all know how much pasta costs. What’s your problem Newks?? Not ordering again. The meal cost 12.99 and the sandwich I ordered had less chicken salad in it than the salad it comes in. Get it together. It’s highway robbery by an “eatery”

So I was looking at my bank statement the other day and saw I had a charge from Newks. I called and asked them why I’m seeing a charge and it’s been months since I last been there. The owner going to say the credit card company they used to process payments had did some kind of update and now they are pushing payments through. But then she going to tell me I hope that don’t stop you from eating here at my restaurant. I just got off the phone I wanted to cuss her out. But that wouldn’t of solved anything. But I figured to leave a review for people to watch out using your credit card at this place cause apparently I’m not the only one this happened to.

I went to this restaurant a few years ago. I paid for my food the day I went. On July 31st 2023 at 11 am I was charged $40. I called to get an explanation. The owner said they were having processing issues with their card reader. They take it upon themselves to run any card without communicating and charged my card again. They did it to many customers but how can you charge me when I have not been in your establishment since 2020. This has to be some type of fraud because how can you process payments without me buying anything from your establishment! I am still waiting to be called back about this incident.

Ordered a turkey sandwich and a cup of 6-cheese Mac n Cheese. What I got was a cup about a third full and a sandwich that wasn’t very appetizing. It was missing the creole mustard and the advacado had black spots. The bread of the sandwich was covered on the outside in green stuff that I had to wipe away just to hold it. I lost my appetite. I’ve had newks before and it’s normally good but I won’t go back to this location. I didn’t take a picture of the sandwich. I was pretty disappointed by then.

First time going. Won’t be coming back. I ordered the shrimp po boy. It sandwich was cold and the shrimp had no flavor. Couldn’t eat it so I went to the cashier and asked if I could order something else and they made me pay for something else to eat. So then I bought the margarita pizza and it was so oily I also couldn’t eat the pizza so I just left. Money waisted
