Went here for the first time ever for lunch. The prices were very high & I felt like the restaurant looked run down. I got my food and a burrito I ordered came smothered in a very nasty tasting red sauce. It tasted like chef Boyardee sauce. I didn’t mean to complain but I sent my food back. The waiter asked if I would prefer cheese sauce instead so I said yeah I will try that instead. He never mentioned it would be an extra $5 charge for a small amount of cheese sauce drizzled on a burrito. I won’t be back here again. La base is seriously la best. No one can compare to their food,service and prices!

I’ve eaten here twice in the past month, and both times, I didn’t care for my food. The first time, I got a taco salad, and it barely had any meat, mostly lettuce. The second time, there was not a lot of flavor.

I can only speak for the street tacos and guac….but they were great!! Some of the best I’ve found in the area. Get them as they are supposed to be…pico & cilantro. And definitely get the homemade hot sauce.
