I was in need of dinner On my way to NYC and I saw the great reviews so I stopped at Portage in and it’s no joke. Got the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and it was amazing and the server/bartender (81635 on the receipt), she was incredible.

We found this charming pub on our way home. It was so clean, welcoming and the perfect place for a rest stop. We stayed and.ordered their pizza…which was very delicious! Homemade pizzas were a hit with my kiddos…”the best pizza ever!” We took some home…if you ever get a chance to visit the Portage Inn, it’s a MUST for their hospitality and the pizza!

I have had their pizza before and it was good. But this time my husband and I ordered two pizzas for takeout. It was $54.00 And when we got home the crust wasn’t fully cooked it was still doughy and the cheese wasn’t browned. We had to stick it in the oven and cook it longer. Instead of rushing to get the pizza done in 20 minutes I would rather wait longer for pizza’s that are fully cooked.

Our cheese bites, were cold. The pizza was gross , it always was not even hot all the way through. The dough was gooey and uncooked. The sauce was all watering and dripping of the crust… and the server never once came back to our table to ask us if everything was OK!! NOT, great service, coming from a server. She was nice, tho! We definitely, won’t be going back!

Service was great, but food is market price, so you don’t know unless you ask. Once you do, it’s overpriced along with drink prices. Keno/ohio lottery games are available to play, but if you win, you can’t cash in your ticket.. doesn’t seem right.

My family used to be a big fan and would love coming here, but lately their food has not been so good and their prices went up high. They started listing things as “market price,” which makes sense for chicken, but for pizza??? We ordered chicken chunks and a personal cheese pizza, and a large all meat pizza. Only one person ordered a soft drink, but that got us to a $100 bill. Their chicken was chewy and dry, their personal pizza was thin crust, but our all meat was regular crust.. they also charged a “restaurant service” fee on top of a dine-in fee.

Pizza was great-except it cost $40! for a large pizza. Waitress was rude when I politely inquired about the charge. No one checked on us at our table the whole time we were there. Dirty tables in side room. Smokers kept propping the door open allowing the smoke to come into the dining area.
