Went on a Tuesday evening. There was people inside but I wouldn’t call it busy. They were super slow however. Took forever to even take our order and was there an hour before the first plate even got to us and it wasn’t even hot. All our meals also did not even come out at the same time. Second meal was a “burrito loco” with the “Mexican salad” missing. And while we were eating the bus boy came and took my grandpa’s refried beans he was still eating. Didn’t ask or any thing. Half of them were still on his plate. The food was ok but the beans and rice weren’t very flavorful anyway. Service ruined it for us.

Was super excited to try them out. Guacamole was pureed and nasty. Ordered chicken tenders for the kids and when I arrived I was told they didn’t have tenders but nuggets instead and was asked if it was OK. At this point it has to be. When we opened the kids meals it was tenders of some sort cut into pieces and contained bones??

Got recommended this place by a neighbor. Had high hopes. Well, was a horrible experience. Paid $61 it. I ordered steak nachos. Got just steak and chips. No lettuce, no sour cream. No guacamole, no anything else on it. Just meat and chips. Also ordered boneless buffalo wings “hot”. Just got chicken strips. No sauce on them. Ordered drinks 2 different times because they kept saying they were out of the other. My wife’s Chimichanga was absolutely buried under a mountain of lettuce. There is no way this is work that kind of money. This is a $30 meal at best. Taco Bell is better.

The waitress was Not very helpful at all. I tried to order 3 different items and she acted as if she didn’t understand a word I spoke and I even requested the items in Spanish. I ended up ordering street tacos knowing I would be able to get her to understand. Funny she could ask if I wanted steak or ground beef. Maybe she was Having a bad day the tacos were fair. Handicap ♿️ accessibility is good.

Dos Amigos has been our favorite Mexican restaurant in Monticello for several years, we go there at least once a week. However, lately things have been going downhill with the service, they seem to always forget something. Last night was the clincher. My food was barely warm….but WAIT, there’s more!
