Stumbled across this place before it was even a restaurant and was just two dudes selling BBQ in a parking lot and have been going back ever since. This place is awesome and there is no wrong option on the menu. Shoutout whoever decided to put teriyaki and Parmesan on corn on the cob that’s a game changer right there. The BBQ sauce is the best around. Ribs are always tender and delicious. The wings are always nice and crispy and the hot links are bomb. I make a 30-minute drive to go to this place it’s that good. Can’t wait to come back and try fried Chicken Friday.

Wow!!! This is a great BBQ spot on University near Evans.. I had the three meat plate with two sides. I chose three different sauces.. The Carolina Gold is just fantastic. It is a stark change from the usual with a heavy mustard influence.. The portions are huge, so make sure you are very hungry!!

Saw this place on tiktok and put it on the list to visit when I came for my birthday trip to Denver. I ordered online to oick the order up and everything went smoothly. Yall the food was AMAZING! I got the smoked wings, ribs, green beans, baked beans, and corn. The sauces were amazing. The green beans taste like someones southern grandma made them. Everything was so flavorful. The ribs could have been more tender in my opinion but the flavor made up for it! I’ll definitely be back before I leave! Yall get my southern nod of approval!

This Memorial Day weekend, my wife and I got married in our backyard. We first had Saucy’s BBQ back during the early days of COVID when Khristian and Ki’erre were set up at Alameda and Federal. At the time, we were so in love with the food that we started talking about having them cater a (hypothetical at the time) small backyard wedding. Fast forward a few years, the backyard wedding was real and Saucy’s made it happen. Their catering was on time and exactly what we ordered — only more so. Our catering order was for 40 people, but we had enough food to feed another party the next day with leftovers. We couldn’t be happier with the quality & quantity of the food and the level of service Saucy’s provided. Our guests (including kids, vegetarians, and a few discerning Southerners) raved about the meal. Highly recommend the wings, ribs, green beans, and mac and cheese. We couldn’t be thankful enough to Khristian and Ki’erre. Would recommend their catering to anyone looking to host an event, big or small.

Visiting for ABAI we looked to Tik Tok for the best places in Denver to eat and Saucey’s Southern bbq popped up so we had to give it a try. The customer service, food, and management was excellent. The best ribs I have EVER eaten “don’t tell my mama” lol Would absolutely eat here again. If you are looking for some food good for the soul and even better on those taste buds this is the place!

1st of all this is a Black owned business! I came in to show my support. We had the hot link, ribs, mac & cheese and baked beans. My son reported that the ribs were a bit tough but still delicious. The hot link, 1 meat plate is 2 hot links. Which was too much for me to eat but good for leftovers later. We both agree that the baked beans and mac & cheese were excellent. I have 2 suggestions, my food could have been hotter in temperature and I would be nice to have a roll or cornbread. I see in other photos that some plates were served with a roll. Next time I come back I plan on trying the wings!

Very authentic bbq. We got the ribs, wings, and hotlinks, all were good. Try the mac and cheese, it’s not spicy and the beans were great as well. Grab some napkins though, it’s pretty messy. Worth a try!
