Went in at 9 pm for a late dinner. Immediately one of the waitress told me that we couldn’t sit at the tables to the left side of the building, even though there was customers still eating over there and the other tables was absolutely filthy. We waited 10 minutes just to get the table cleaned. A second waitress then atleast asked us about what we wanted to drink. We waited another 20 minutes and none of the 4 employees working had came to take our order, so we walked out. The one waitress only seemed like she wanted to serve the customers in the “closed area” of the restaurant while the other just wanted to talk to her. I don’t expect a cook to come take my order but if there is 2 waitresses, why should I be forced to sit at a filthy table and why should I have to wait 30 minutes to place an order. Feel like I should mention that it wasn’t like the restaurant was slam packed either. Was only 6 tables/ bar seats taken so for 2 waitresses, I feel a 30 minute wait to take an order is ridiculous.

Went with my husband and large group of children when traveling through the area for a soccer tournament. The three ladies on staff were beyond friendly and a lot of FUN!! They had us all smiling and dancing and they cooked the food perfectly. We had a long, rough day today and they helped us remember how kindness and care can turn everything around. Thank you, Kate and team! We truly appreciate your hospitality- it was a blast dining with you all tonight!

Tonight was not good at all. I usually love coming here at night to relax and destress with a quick meal. But the staff and mainly the cook, Rooney, were just horrendous to be around. The makeup girl was overall rude as hell, snotty, and acting like a child who was forced to be there. Now Rooney, thought it would be a wise idea to be passive aggressive towards another customer, because she sent back her plate (not made right) and kept saying “I heard, chill out I don’t care”, then the other cook with purple hair, and makeup girl were talking heavily about all 3 customers in there…3 customers. I’ve been a waitress before, 3 customers is not abhorrent.

I spend a lot of time on the road. Waffle house is usually easy to get into and out of. Fairly quick turnaround. Service is usually pretty good and mostly depends on maturity of staff( and I don’t necessarily mean age)

Great for quick bite, while you wait for your car wash across the street. The Wait Staff are very attentive to the patrons. The Cook is preparing meals with love and precisely like the customer ordered. The price of a meal is reasonable. Well worth a 20% tip and beyond.
