Our first visit, nachos were good. They charged an extra 2.99 for half chicken/half beef nachos. Beef Nachos are $11.99; Chicken Nachos are 10.99 jalapeños are .75 cents. Asking for avocado on the side and if there was extra charges on my order would have helped.

Watch ur reciept because they tend to over charge. Got a half over of chicken fried chicken, it comes with TWO sides, so I got double fries and got charged for two separate order of fries. In that case I should have gotten 4 sides for the price that was paid…sucks because the good is actually good. Very disappointing in the services.

For breakfast the Machacado and Chicharron specialty tacos were full and flavorful. They’re short on staff, but the staff they do have was friendly, fast on refills, and welcomed everyone in. The sweet tea is super sweet but it’s good. The a/c is really cold, but the restrooms are really clean. Good place to stop for breakfast.

Not many tables since someone had booked a party. But the chicken fried chicken was the bomb. It had been over 10 years since we had eaten here and it did not disappoint. I do think they need more friendly staff.

Atmosphere was amazing with all the Christmas lights & various Christmas trees surrounding the restaurant. The water fountain was so relaxing to watch! Food was the best, even the leftovers that I took home. The spicy hot salsa was the best that I have tasted with such a rich red color. The chips were a little stale, but everything else made up for it. The praline that I purchased at the check out was incredible. My sisters & I all took one home to enjoy. I couldn’t believe how busy it was at noon, but since we went at 11:00 a.m. we were almost on our way out the door. I recommend going early to beat the rush, if possible.

I have eaten there twice and both times the food was really great. They are bypassing premont texas with hiway construction i think but i will make it a point to support this place each time i pass that way even if i just get the food to go.
