Here to edit my review. Second trip here, brought my dad to try it out. Older, veteran, doesn’t complain a whole lot. He got potatoes, and took a bite & said they weren’t cooked. My sister tried a bite, she agreed. He asked to exchange it. Waitress said no problem. Then the cashier came over and said “sorry they were crispy, but you ate them, so we aren’t going to give you a new side” photo shows what’s left of the potatoes after they each tried a bite. It wasn’t a big portion to start with, but the way he came over and didn’t even know they were under cooked, not crispy… you don’t treat people that way. My dad just said “it’s okay, it’s fine”. I don’t understand why a nickels worth of potatoes is worth losing 4 customers over.

Good was pretty good. You order at the counter then go sit down and food gets brought out to you. It’s different and i like that. I got the chicken and waffles and the other is a bacon burrito.

This is second time we have been here for breakfast. Both times great experience. The folks working are courteous and friendly. The food is good. Born and raised in the south and more authentic country cooking then Cracker Barrel, at least for breakfast. Biscuits and gravy like the ones my mom made!

Food was delicious. Portions were big American sized! Order came out about 10 minutes after ordering and getting table. Was not really a fan of ordering as you enter the door, but could get used to it I reckon. When all tables are full, they could hold taking other orders, so folks are not hovering over you waiting on a table. Other than that, I would recommend due to Great Food and Fast Service.

Came here for the first time last week and have been back 3 times since. It was great and I expected to be a regular and bring friends and family. So today I brought my dad. They served my dad raw potatoes. He ate 3, and came to the conclusion that they were all undercooked, and asked for a replacement. The waitress said sure. Then a few minutes later, the cashier (maybe also manager?) came over and told my dad “you already ate them” while pointing to my dad’s plate full of potatoes?? I mean how much does it cost for some potatoes? Less than they would have made if they hadn’t just lost 4 patrons. Maybe don’t accuse paying customers of trying to swindle you so you can save a few pennies. My dad is a senior and a vet, he was wearing his veterans hat, and this is how management at Rooster Shack treats the veterans of this country… Disgusting.

Went there for the first time this morning. People were friendly, but the food was below average. I have had better food at McDonalds. Capri’s Restaurant and Ross Diner is much better. Note: The owner responded to me via Facebook with a nasty attitude and cannot not take any criticism. With responses from the owner like this you will not be in business long. DON’T RECOMMEND!! GO ELSEWHERE!!

Home fryPotatoes were not cooked. Lots of grease on them but raw..we told the waiter that the eggs tasted like rubber and he said they do not. The gravy I don’t know what to say about it other than it left me wondering what was in it. The bacon was good but not much of it.. i liked the biscuit. My wife did not. With their attitude about the eggs and their outrageous prices we will not be going back.. we will check the next vendors out cause I dought the business will survive

My burger was super dry..I got the deluxe that comes with 3 condiments: mustard mayo and ketchup.. asked for no mustard, instead I got mustard and no ketchup or mayo… the fries were greasy… it was a if the fries were soaked in cooking oil before serving them.. so much grease I could squeeze it out of the fries. Which I did and was left with a puddle of cooking oil on my plate… for 17 bucks, that burger and fry should’ve been perfect. It was not
