Cute atmosphere. A little pricey, pizzas are very thin and small so we ordered two basic pizzas with very few toppings, a small mushroom appetizers, water and one glass of wine and it was $55. That is including the 20% gratuity that they automatically add to each bill. The pizza was good but nothing spectacular. Nothing that I would probably ever spend 15+ dollars per pizza for again. The mushroom appetizer however, was phenomenal. Great place for a one time experience.

The idea of this place is great, but the execution is poor. We ordered three different pizzas as carry out. The pizzas are 12″ so you are paying a premium for them as my total, with tax and the mandatory 20% hospitality fee, was $65. I arrived home only to find that the dough was raw on two of the pizzas and the flavors of the pizza were nothing special. I was excited to try this place but I do not think I will be going back. I am disappointed.

Pretty disappointing. Beer and wine choices were fine. Nice decor and staff was attentive. I love thin crust pizza, so I was looking forward to trying this out. The cheese was in blobs, and on some slices there was hardly any cheese. The mushrooms were almost whole and fell off. There were only 4 pepperoni slices on the pizza, so some slices had none. Just sort of odd. They might want to consider tweaking their pizza to improve. A pricey side caesar salad at $9, which is fairly unusual for a casual restaurant.

Takes pizza to another place…. With an amazing fermented crust the pizzas here are outstanding. My wife and I agreed, the sauce we had on our Nemo pizza was the best sauce we’ve ever had.

We came with eight peeps. The wait was fifteen minutes. The staff swiveled chairs and it was pizza time! We pretty much ordered one of each and drinks and the meal was interesting. .. perfect. Seldom, if ever, have I seen pizza elicit so much conversation.

8 employees in uniform in the dining area (7 if you do not include the person at the oven) and did not receive our entree although we waited for two hours. We did, in that time receive our drink and salad order — which took over 50 minutes. There were only two of us. We cancelled our entree at two hours and ask for the check. They did not include the entree but did include a 20 percent “hospitality fee.” I wonder what they charge when service is effective?

Bit of a head scratcher…The pizza had an awesome combination of flavor. $17 for ultra thin crust feels high when mandatory 20% is added. No big deal to require gratuity but odd you have to force it on patrons to make “fair wages”, if servers provide good service they should make the wage margin through tips. Overall it just makes your prices higher without any feedback on servers performance. Those who dont are likely poor performers anyway. Food quality is high so I can almost see premium prices but couldn’t help but pick out inefficiencies in the operation…why is there a host for a 600 to to 800 sq ft seating space. It was somewhat awkward sitting right next to the host just sitting there staring ahead and glancing over periodically, I wanted to ask him to join, haha. I mean i could have passed the salt. The kitchen and bar are just a few feet away…multi task and reduce head count. If you can get a beer in a pint glass, why not an ice tea in a pint glass. Its offered in a 1/2 pint filled with ice for about four sips. Its an item offerd as refills so larger glass less for server to have to check on…just really small stuff that added up. Atmosphere seemed conflicting…trying to mix an informal food offering with a forced formal experience. I think Octo Pi food in a mountain goat environment would be the perfect mix… Will likely be back just not as often as I would have hoped for.

I am sure it is good food but I felt kind of out of my element when I sat down to review the menu. We did order wine and I had the Stout which was good but in all honesty we got up and excused herself after drinks.

Couldn’t get into the high point with our party of 6. So we decided to give octopi a try. Food was great service was excellent didn’t mind the 20% gratuity added to the bill and it was happy hour so wine n beer were buy 1 get 1. Will definitely be back.
