I don’t tend to write reviews, this place is worth it though. Yo! What good food! I was looking for a little place to spend a bit of time and get a good meal and ran by this one. Chef Yo’s food is real real. Real real delicious! My one worry coming in was that the business is fronted with a to-go hot plate style of dining, however I was greeted by a lovely lady who helped me figure out what I might like. Their menu is a bit large, but harbors a great variety of homecooked meals. Certainly going to be back to try Momma’s Meatloaf. Today I got an order of Wings and a French Dip with a side of coleslaw. The wings, though the menu does not say so, came with a decent side of fries, and my choice of ranch or bleu cheese (I went with the former..) I got them tossed in their own Kickin’ Sauce which fly-kicked my mouth karate style with flavor. They weren’t as spicy as I was hoping for so I asked for a side of a spicier sauce and was eagerly helped. After eating most of my wings and fries I moved on to the French Dip thst came with a very large portion of their crispy fries. I was a little worried about the small portions of ever so slightly burnt edges of the bread however… It didn’t taste burnt at all! In fact the roll was quite moist and the beef *chef’s kiss*. Laced with mozzarella that gave a nice chew after of course dipping this frenchy in their very savory Au Jus. It also came with horsey sauce, to add a perfect kick to this tastey sub.

Been here 3 times so far! 1st chicken dumplings w/ side of corn. A little salty and dumplings a little doughy but, good. 2nd fried chicken 2 thighs, and a drum with carrots, and mac n cheese . Chicken was good the crust was a little over done. The sides were good. 3rd meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy on potatoes and meat. It was freaking good this one is my favorite so far! I would definitely order the meatloaf dinner if you go ! I paid extra for a second piece of meatloaf definitely worth it! We will definitely be coming here more often!!!

I am so disappointed of this place. Food is ok but service is awful. After ordering some wings (all flats) the lady offered grilled cheese for my daughter, we said OK! While we were waiting the lady gave us a bag of chips. When I got home I didn’t find the grilled cheese. I called and she said: “she hought that I ordered a bag of chips ???” Then, no flats and the dessert tastes so old. It doesn’t have an expiration day. I will give 3 stars because I hope that was just a bad day and they learn from this.

You can’t beat the fish fries here. Large portions, not overly thick coating. The chicken and dumplings were very tasty, along with the fried chicken. Four small tables for waiting for your order or eating in were nice and clean. The BBQ pork and chicken are very tasty, too.

Chef Yo just catered a private family function for us, and it was delicious! We had pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, chicken tenders, french fries, rolls, garlic bread. Everything was so delicious and wonderfully put together, and it allowed our family to enjoy our time together rather than worrying about cooking.

Took a crew in of 4 adults and 1 grandchild today. Everyone got something different for lunch. Caesar salad with chicken was scrumptious. Seafood sampler platter was super tasty. Granddaughter loved the grilled cheese and fries. Hubby thought the patty melt was really good and can’t wait to get another one! I had the pastrami wrap and fries…..scrumpdeliump! Staff were all super friendly and accommodating. Food was fresh to order. Of course, we ordered some dessert! Go Chef Yo’s!!!
