This is one of the few pizza places that delivers to our home. We order almost weekly for a pizza and movie night family tradition. Papa Johns keeps getting worse. Extremely inconsistent. One week is okay. Next week it’s awful. Always seems like they are trying to save money by either stretching the dough too thin or skimping on the toppings.

I walked in to order and the young lady who I think had a face piercing and hair in a bun said, oh I’m not taking aby more orders. Im too busy. I was in shock and asked where’s her sign to let people know not to walk in, and I shouldnt be turned away, let me decide if I want to wait or not. Then she looked like she was shocked because of my statement. I know things are crazy but I’ve never been turned around.

Past couple times they have messed up our orders. Tonight was the worst. I called the manager for a refund because it took so many times to get us the right items and they still didn’t get it completely right. The manager said the system will not allow him to refund our money. He was saying that he personally took our pizza out of the oven and cut it. It sounded like he wanted kudos for him personally getting the second pizza ready. He also said that I would have to do a search to find the corporate phone number and they MIGHT be able to help us. He should have that number available to give to customers. He acted like “sorry about your luck”. He was rude, condescending and unprofessional. Could have been a simple solution, but they kinda basically ruined our dinner.

Called unable to use my rewards points online. Dillon or Dion said he doesn’t know why they transferred me to him there isn’t anything he can do. Then he proceeded to say well I can’t do anything while right here on the phone with you so hold on. Never came back. I have $20 in papa rewards the app isn’t allowing me to use.

Went to the north location because the 82nd street location serves garbage as well. Got a large pizza with onion/green peppers, they made an entire layer of peppers and onions under the cheese, overwhelmingly so to the point of some of veggies not cooking all of the way and the whole pizza tasting watery/earthy and just plain gross. Top it all off we get extra pepperoncini’s, I see the manager check the box and tell the employee and what’s he do? This man bare-handed grabs a handful of peppers to put in the box. Like bro I have no idea where TF your hands have been. Probably the last time I eat papa johns for a long time.

Always our go to pizza place. We have a particular order and this store always provides the best product. We like light sauce and well done crust with lots of banana peppers. This is the store that brings the goods and serves it with a smile. I never have to worry if I’ll get my order just the way I asked. All the associates appreciate the specificity of the order and I understand it is often duplicated, lol.
