What can I say about this place this is the best diner in whole entire Spartanburg county area! This is actually my go-to restaurant the only place that ever impressed me time after time. And never had any issues I continually keep constantly going back a few times a week atleast I have told multiple people about this place everything that I’ve gotten to eat here I thoroughly enjoyed loved the redneck burger and the onion rings was the tried many things on the menu never gotten anything that I didn’t care for definitely check this place out you won’t be disappointed highly recommend this restaurant establishment

Stopped in with a friend for dinner. I’ve only had breakfast from here until now. I ordered a hamburger steak and they cooked it to medium rare and I added chili and cheese, with fries and slaw. Very good. My friend got the grilled pimento cheese sandwich. Also delicious. The food took a while to get but was crowded. Had 2 crying babies that were right next to us but tolerable. Will definitely be back.

My first visit here with a friend, and being new to the area, I was unaware of this establishment. It was immediately apparent that this is a favored haunt of the locals. John’s offers multiple menu options that feature expected American – style fare. My order of grilled lemon pepper chicken was good and accompanied by the vegetable of the day, fried okra – also, quite good – and sweet potato fries that did not measure up to the other items. Either I received the bottom of the basket or the cook took his eye off the preparation. Service was friendly and prompt. This is a working man’s dining choice with simple, straight-forward menu options and affordable prices. I would like to try it sometime for breakfast.

Use to be my spot, would go by a few times a week. My company makes big orders often as well. Service isn’t the same since a few servers are no longer there. I placed an order online today, get there and the order wasn’t even in. No sorry for the inconvenience or nothing. Got a big bowl of lumps that was supposed to be grits. Probably won’t go back. Like everywhere else young servers just don’t can’t about customer service or being friendly.

Oh my goodness. What a little gem of a restaurant. I ordered the grilled pimento cheese & bacon sandwich and it was absolutely yummy. the pimento cheese was the BEST I’ve had in a long while. The onion rings I ordered were definitely homemade and so good. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered the 6oz sirloin with potatoes and veggies and he was very pleased with his steak. Highly recommend.
