Arrived at 10:15 excited to eat a good breakfast. After sitting down and while the waiter came over, someone from behind the bar yelled “Tell them breakfast is over.” Low review due to the fact I could still see them cooking breakfast and I’m disappointed. Paid $5.00 for two coffees and tipped the waiter.

Spent a night in Fayetteville & discovered this little diner that seemed to have frozen in time with much of the rest of the small town.

First time eating here. Busy but not full on a Saturday lunch. My burger was just ok. Waited 30 minutes (after I received my order) for the fish and onion rings my husband ordered. I went to the counter to ask for drink refills and about his food because I had already received my food and had finished eating. They brought his food a few minutes later and the onion rings were charred. Like burned …: see picture. He didn’t eat half of his food. Very disappointed. A lot of young kids working but saw no adult supervision at all… at lunch on a Saturday. Place was extremely dirty. After reading the responses from the owner who has worked there for 30 something years, I’m not expecting any feedback that is worth anything. You never know if a restaurant is good unless you try it yourself. Lesson learned on our part.

My wife and I had just arrived in Fayetteville and wanted to grab a bite to eat before walking around town. We saw Honey’s and thought it would be cool to try one of their Slaw Burgers which is a local thing apparently. We walked in at about 2pm or so and there were a few customers eating and two waitresses flitting about caring to them. I noticed that Honey’s had an old school feel to it and thought, “this should be pretty cool”. My wife and I sat ourselves and waited at least twenty minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us before my wife just got up and grabbed two menus. Once we had a chance to peruse the menus we decided to go ahead with the Slaw Burgers and my wife walked over to the counter to order when the staff informed her that one of the waitresses would take our order. Our waitress finally walked over and took our order without issue. While waiting for our late lunch I took a moment to go to the bathroom and wash my hands. Unfortunately, I have used New York Subway bathrooms that were cleaner. The mens room at Honey’s obviously hasn’t been cleaned in a few weeks, use at your own risk.

We have frequented Honeys off and on for the past few years with our motorcycle group. The past two visit were terrible! The got the orders wrong on the first trip, never did get them corrected and today it took well over an hour to piecemeal getting out order to the table and one member never got his food after being reassured three times it was being cooked. They were not that busy, either! Then the girl taking the money at the register got my bill wrong with no concern to fix it. I am VERY disappointed in the service when in the past I have been a big fan. It will be a long, long time, if ever, before we visit again. But the food is good…IF you can get it or get what you ordered.

Like most small southern town diner/restaurants. The slaw burger is sweet tangy mustard based. Delicious!

Terrible! Maybe a favorite of locals but the small burgers were served cold and the onion rings actually dripped brownish grease. I had to throw them away! The french fries would have been pretty good if they had been crisp. The restaurant would benefit from just a top to bottom steam cleaning and new cooking oil! Very disappointed.

Probably the worst grease pit I have ever been in. For a historical restaurant I was very disappointed. The smell of old burnt grease fills the air. LITERALLY! The staff doesn’t coordinate with each other on what food goes with each ticket and each person was done with their plates before the next came out. They even forgot part of our order and had a kid waiting over 30 minutes for chicken strips and fries. Which were precooked and cold when served. The munu prices are not what you are going to be charged for.. as they have not updated anything but the iPad’s used to take your order. The slaw burger was meeh… there are definitely better in the area. Such a disappointment.

Lawd no, this place was the bomb dot com back in the day but today not at all. Yes you can get a tiny homemade burger and fries. Nothing but young girls working there that are not there to work, rather be on their phones than helping their customers. Then again I heard the new owner ONLY hires young girls, nasty.
